Taken on a Monday at 7pm, the days of 9 to 5 are gone. The monster waving its arms is the Salesforce Tower completing construction.

There are not many of these left in this area of the country. I am assuming most farms use electrical pumps now. However, this one is proving to be in good working condition, and I think doing the overtime for free.
HWW - Happy Windmill Wednesday
Just like me, this bee was out making the most of the setting sun and hoping to get just one more thing accomplished. For me, it was grabbing a shot for the day since I'm apparently a gigantic slacker and forgot to grab the camera while the light was good.
Oops, lucky for me, this bee was working overtime and I was able to grab a quick shot.

Het 270 meter lange Kraanspoor – naar het ontwerp van J.D. Postma – werd in 1952 in gebruik genomen. Als in de jaren zeventig de werven langzaam uit het gebied verdwijnen, wordt het ook stil rondom het eens zo bedrijvige Kraanspoor. Vanaf 1980 heeft het gebied geen functie meer en vanuit de gemeente ligt er geen visie om het gebied weer te ontwikkelen. In 1997 wordt er zelfs door de gemeente Amsterdam een sloopvergunning verleend. Het is de architect Ontwerper Trude Hooykaas die op een mooie zondag in 1997 op haar fiets langs het Kraanspoor fietst en met een idee komt om dit verlaten Kraanspoor te herontwikkelen tot een spectaculair kantoorpand. ING Real Estate raakt in 2001 bij het project betrokken en ziet de herontwikkeling van het Kraanspoor als puur ondernemerschap. De uitdaging om van het Kraanspoor een plek te maken die in samenhang is met haar omgeving en die inspeelt op de wensen van gebruikers van nu, maar ook op die van toekomstige generaties is geslaagd.

Castle Street bus stops blocked out with out of service buses with no drivers available for changeover although 69130 still with passengers on board would eventually leave not in service 20 minutes later with a driver.
Een fotorit bij de Museum Buurtspoorweg leverde onder andere bovenstaand plaatje op, gemaakt in Haaksbergen. De goederentrein, getrokken door loc NS 7742 van de Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik is net aangekomen, de loc wordt nagelopen en er vindt overleg plaats over de rangeerbewegingen die moeten worden uitgevoerd.
The above picture was made during a photo charter at the Museum Buurtspoorweg in Haaksbergen. A freight train, pulled by NS 7742 of the Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik, has just arrived in the station. The engine is being checked and one is deliberating the shunting movements that have to be carried out.

Wednesday is the worst day of the week. It is not any more in the zone of Sunday and not yet in the premium space of Saturday.

Der Mittwoch ist der schlechteste Tag der Woche. Er ist nicht mehr in der Sonntagszone und noch nicht noch in der Samstags-Freizeit.

Based on the forecasts of cloudy weather for the afternoon, the gang ( Paulo "Santa Cruz" Dias , Sergio Silva "Estabas" & Pedro Damásio "Rolhas" ) went out to discover new spot's of our beautiful coastline.
We decided to leave a little early for an early recognition of the area and choose the place where we would stay for the sunset. Arrived at the prearranged site, soon noticed that the "weather men" were wrong again, because of clouds. .. no sign !!!!
Well, since we had no clouds and only a blazing sun, nothing better than a few beers and a plate of snails in a magnificent seaside terrace, time passes (beers too) and that the trip was not in vain we decided to head further north and continue our recognition doing overtime Landscape in the hope that by miracle the clouds appear for the sunset.
PS - By the way, they appeared at about 22:15 when we were in the cars to return home :(
