2:30 a.m ... last night in Jökulsárlón, we had just arrived at the hotel after a poor aurora session in the Lagoon.
In a way of compensation / farewell we were presented with their visit at the door of our room ! Result ... we were forced to make a few more "overtime" of photography ^_^

I decided to be brave and go back to a hockey game to see what I can capture. This is my favorite image from the day because it's different. It shows a specific moment of celebration instead of the typical hockey shot that I have taken in the past.
The hole in the plexyglass that I put my lens through was a perfect fit and I was more confident that I would not be hit by a flying puck. Even with a press pass and a good seat, I moved around the stadium and got different angles and I do like the variety I shot.
This would of been the best shot for the newspaper I shot for but the Sharks ended up winning in overtime. If they just use one photo this would not be the one but if they use three or four photos this would be great among them.

Lately, our climbing rose has been working overtime. It started blooming a few weeks ago, and then suddenly we noticed lots of rose buds, promising lots of roses.
Just in the last few days some of those buds have started to open up. Here's a shot of "one" of the latest to open (taken from one of the sunroom windows) that shows some buds on either side and a few of the older blooms in the background.
We had a Monkey see monkey do type of situation here. He watched Dylian climb rocks and do what i call the lion king pose. Dylian always just offered this behavior and overtime he learned to stay in place just as is... I never expected the other two to do that as i know that was not a typical dog thing. Nemo watched Dylian stop and hold whatever he was doing upon my request.... then Nemo offered the exact same behavior to me... I was so shocked and just took a picture to have it as a memory... and now it just is that special to me. I couldn't get Jasmine to stay to save her life.... but Nemo is like ok, what else do you want me to do? Maybe the curlies are not as dense as i previously thought ;-)
Found this scene on the way back from az excursion- they work. They have to stand the heat all day where others are on the beach.... Respect.
"You know that awful feeling when you've been in the office for days, weeks even, and that last bit of code just won't work? Feels like drowning eh? Lemme tell ya, that's just the beginning.."
Overtime Crunch is my entry for Round 1 of Bio-Cup 2021. Good luck to my opponents!

That took a lot of work! I sure hope she catches something to make up for that effort.

One from the scrap heap of my trip to upstate NY in October.
This one is overbaked so teh swirl is too blurry. All the exposures I took at this spot were too long just because I wasn't thinking. It's not bad though.

You can't really tell, but there were tons of wasps swarming this plant. They didn't really like that I was so close but they seemed as if they were okay with me as long as I didn't bother them too much.
I was only able to snap a few shots before they decided I was too close and started flying a little too close for comfort.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
