Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River, between Utah and Arizona. It is a major vacation spot with 2 million visitors per year. It is the second largest man-made reservoir by maximum water capacity in the United States. It was created by the flooding of Glen Canyon by the Glen Canyon Dam. The reservoir is named for explorer John Wesley Powell, an American Civil War veteran who explored the river via three wooden boats in 1869.

Midnight, full moon and minus 28 degrees C. While visiting my brother`s place last winter.
Hiking the trails on Mt. Rainier on a foggy day.
You can't see the mountain, but oh, the fall colors are magnificent.
Both the summer flowers and the autumn foliage just look so alive and saturated on a foggy day.

This is Beacon Bait Stand. These bait stands are everywhere along the bay. Sometimes right next to each other. In there brochure, they are really proud of the underwater green lights?? I don't know what that means. Maybe one of you can tell me. I forgot my tripod shoe so I had to make a lot of my shot, on this trip, look like night shots, but this one is an actual night shot. Which is why it not as sharp as it could be.

I have taken many photos of the trees down this stretch of road and each time they come out a little different. The combination of stormy sky and the sun going down made for beautiful light and shadows.

Stadsparken (the city park) of Lund, Sweden. The park was inaugurated in 1911 - the area, just outside the medieval town wall, had been used in 1907 for the Lund exhibition (Lundautställningen) after the town had bought the piece of land in 1904. At the exhibition some 250 000 people visited the area in four months, viewing exhibitors from the whole country.

Winter season definitely not a good time for baseball, some small snow make the field looks different.
Loch Linnhe near Port Appin in Argyll and Bute. Castle Stalker is in the distance in the middle of the shot. It is built on a small island on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe .
The original castle was a small fort, built around 1320 by Clan McDougall. Around 1388 the Stewarts took over the Lordship of Lorn, and it is believed that they built the castle in its present form around the 1440s.
Castle Stalker is now in private ownership and is open to the public at selected times during the summer.
