This isn't that great of an image. I took it with my phone. This is what I saw when I pulled into my work Tuesday. It's deer hunting season around here so the deer are staying close to buildings..;)
I don't know what this means. I saw it on the side of this building while in Rockport. The barber shop hasn't done so well in that location either. But, everything was so colorful, I decided to take the shot anyways.
Yesterday, I went with a friend to be an extra in American Crime: Season 2. I left my house at 5am and didn't get home until after 9pm. Hard to believe it take so long to shoot a scene. Didn't pay much but it was an interesting experience.

I live in a small town of about 2500 people, so for some things like electronics, I need to drive to Austin or San Marcus. This shot is from San Marcus, Texas. The park is called Rio Vista. You can't see it but there is a closed down restaurant to the right called River Pub and Grill. It's no wonder it's closed. I read some reviews on line and everyone agreed that the food was terrible..:)
I have taken many photos of the trees down this stretch of road and each time they come out a little different. The combination of stormy sky and the sun going down made for beautiful light and shadows.
The high cliffs of Westray's Western coastline offer gorgeous views over the North Atlantic around the Orkney isles and on good days the sight of three other Orkney islands. These cows certainly have such a beautiful place to graze on and spend the summer!

This is advertisement for a resort here in Wimberley, Texas. As I've said before, there are a lot of creative people in this town. I did some volunteer photography last night for the Waller Creek group. They had an event on the creek. I'm going to post some of the shots here during the week.
Looking east from the summit of Red Sleep mountain (in the National Bison Range) at St. Ignatius and the southern end of the Mission Mountains.
The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaña (mountain). Smart choice, as the many mountains there are magnificent.

It's kinda hard to see the bench but it's there. Surprisingly, because it's in a small town in the middle of no where, this place was kind of expensive and the people weren't that friendly.
We did have a wet Sunday here, and it looks like it's going to be a wet week..:( Anyway, hope your week goes well

I haven't done one of these in a while so here it is. Gotta get my monies worth out of the software..;)) I wanted to take some pictures today but we had light rain and fog all day, so all I did was take my camera for a ride..;)

The old gate at the bottom of the steps (the steps leads up to a park just outside the Prince Park hotel) is Somon (惣門), built in the early Edo period and once leading to a mausoleum for the second Edo shogun, Tokugawa Hidetada (徳川 秀忠) who died in 1632. The mausoleum itself has not survived.
Bonus for the sharp-eyed: as you can see it has just rained and in the gate a man has taken shelter, fiddling with his phone (Tokyo really is a mixture of history and modernity).
