Australian Magpie (Cracticus tibicen) juvenile
The first juvenile Magpie I have seen out of the nest for this season. It was patiently waiting for Mum or Dad to bring some food.

Thinking out Loud - Ed Sheeran
When your legs don't work like they used to before
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks
And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Oh me I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am
So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are

On the Jade plant a couple of days ago. It is raining again today so some images from 'recent' files.
Another shot from the windy session in the Peaks a couple of weeks ago. This one was taken from the top of Higger Tor just prior to sunset.
I was looking for a decent sunset spot, but due to the wind it was proving extremely difficult to get set up as the tripod was constantly being battered. And so with this spot, I was able to get low behind the rock, which provided some degree of shelter.
I was also attracted by the distant winding road which could be mistaken for a river. I was after the illusion of the water flowing out from the rock to the road/river, but I wasn’t able to get low enough without the pool of water losing its impact!
I originally did do a focus stack right across the scene, but in the end I only merged the foreground images and left the background out of focus.
