and I'm facing this. I'd been hiking all day and the camera was stowed in the car for the day. I'm not getting up, I'm not getting up..... Dang it, I gotta get up!!

the house itself had fantastic lines and angles that were screaming at me and then the setting sun hit that wonderful out of place tree, so here it is, hope you like it as much as I do.

A trip out to watch a local deer rut, was thwarted by a closed carpark, due to covid restrictions.

Instead we went to the nearby World Heritage Site.

There were plenty of these stunning birds enjoying the sanctuary afforded by the former monastic settlement.

Roll on the 1st when this barbaric and antiquated sport is brought to a well overdue close.

Taken on a cold afternoon at the tail end of last year, at the tail end of Little Compton, looking west toward Middletown and Newport. The two towers of the Claiborne Pell (Newport) Bridge are just visible as specs on the distant horizon.

The red old pot is for garlic butter, on the grill there is Snoek, a Barracuda type fish that is very popular in this country. Bbq is a very strong tradition and lifestyle locally. Usually lamb chops, sausage,steaks, chicken kebabs or flatties, or Snoek. Or any combination of aforementioned, with potato and other salads,also cheese,tomato+onion sandwich roasties.
