Sakonnet Point, Little Compton, Rhode Island
Taken on a cold afternoon at the tail end of last year, at the tail end of Little Compton, looking west toward Middletown and Newport. The two towers of the Claiborne Pell (Newport) Bridge are just visible as specs on the distant horizon.

This Fox Sparrow froze for a few moments as a Red-tailed Hawk flew over -- my only opportunity to get shots of a fast and elusive little bird while uncharacteristically out in the clear.

cara lives high above the city in RL and has been known more than occasionally to wander out onto the balcony in her smalls to check the lights. To say nothing of wielding a large set of binoculars to check if any of the neighbors are living likewise.

The red old pot is for garlic butter, on the grill there is Snoek, a Barracuda type fish that is very popular in this country. Bbq is a very strong tradition and lifestyle locally. Usually lamb chops, sausage,steaks, chicken kebabs or flatties, or Snoek. Or any combination of aforementioned, with potato and other salads,also cheese,tomato+onion sandwich roasties.

Bodnant Garden is a National Trust property near Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy, Wales, overlooking the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau mountains. Founded in 1874 and developed by five generations of one family, it was given to the National Trust in 1949.
This Rose bud was confined by a spiders web. But it has burst out and is showing its iner beauty.

Finally!! I've searched, scoured, hunted, taken pics of peaks just to zoom in and see if I could find a mountain goat and have been blanked for years then a glance back and boom, Billy.
