i refuse to drive by something again and say "oh yeah, i'll take a shot of that later..." with the dramatic clouds today, i especially couldn't pass up this decrepit old house.

In the past 18 months or so, I watched this go from a parking lot to a very deep hole in the ground to topped out. Downtown Rockville, Maryland.
Day 177 of my 365 Project
What's on the menu tonight?
My submission for the BlackPanthaaYT #NFSRaceCar competition. The wrap took about 3 hours to make.
I used this as a test to try out some new highlighting techniques which I will be using from now on. I spent about 3 hours on this edit.

I was at a nearby park and noticed these ibis flying up and down the tidal creeks. I found a spot where they were basically flying right towards me. Unfortunately, I clipped the wings on this shot. I still like the image though.
With the moon still up in the morning, thousands of birds are flying out from their nesting area in the Sacramento delta to look for feeding places nearby.
From a crazy weekend in Northampton, London and Birmingham last year.
This is the spiral staircase of Heals department store on Tottenham Court Road on The Big Smoke. Attended with my good mates Ivor Miller and Jack Savage.
The Roseate Spoonbill is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family. This species feeds in shallow fresh or coastal waters by swinging its bill from side to side as it steadily walks through the water, often in groups. The spoon-shaped bill allows it to sift easily through mud. It feeds on crustaceans, aquatic insects, frogs, newts and very small fish ignored by larger waders. The Roseate Spoonbill nests in shrubs or trees, often mangroves, laying 2 to 5 eggs, which are whitish with brown markings. Immature birds have white, feathered heads, and the pink of the plumage is paler. They are extremely agile high in the treetops ~ Davie, Florida

It has been so long since I was able to get out with my camera as it has been my first year of teaching in a primary school in the UK. It was fantastic to finally get out and enjoy the sunshine, coupled with the beautiful blooms at West Dean Gardens in the county of West Sussex.
These three Little Black Shags appear to have put themselves out on a bit of a limb... The colony is just out of sight to the right; I wonder if they've had a tiff with their neighbours - or perhaps they're just having a bit of Time Out...!
Thank you for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath this photo...! Your support is very greatly appreciated.
There's a working farm at Häringe Slott. The surroundings are part of the Hammersta Häringe nature reserve, so it is always open for the public. There were a few people out and about during my visit yesterday.
When you're less than two foot tall A LOT of things are out of reach
But I know I'll grow tall, well that's what mummy and daddy teach!
Our Daily Challenge : Out of Reach
Oddly enough, however, I actually won the point. What everyone (including me) expected to be a deep baseline shot was a blooper just over the net.
And at long last, I had the excuse I needed to buy a new racket! (Sports gear, camera gear, it's all the same lust...)

Named simply because I'm packing boxes to move over the next few weeks. Only to another suburb nearby luckily.
This is very obviously a HDR (a little overdone) but I found this to be the best way to bring out the lackluster colours of that afternoon.
Taken in Brisbane, near Kane's Tree yesterday sunset.
Whilst we are busy chasing the former JPT buses that have been repainted into Stagecoach colours here’s a reminder of the scene the day after the announcement that Stagecoach had been cleared by the mergers people regarding the acquisition of JPT. Most if not all of the JPT vehicles were quickly parked up following the Friday services and I think all were despatched to Hyde Road over the weekend. Only a couple returned still in JPT colours having gained Stagecoach vinyls but no such luck for this ageing Olympian one of a pair purchased by JPT, both were used for a while by Stagecoach until the takeover date but despite having just gained a twelve month MOT both remain out of service and are unlikely to return. The two Plaxton President Volvo B7’s behind were just two of nine to see service with Stagecoach and both have since received corporate colours although we wait for 16968 to return to service.

Indeed, this colour combination is a bit 'out there'. I enjoy it much more than the usual black/grey/silver/white on Astons. Good on this guy for going against the grain.
I'm well aware my stream is in desperate need of attention and variety. I'm on the case :D
I made a facebook page too. It's rather shit at the moment however I invite you to come and watch it develop and grow into one of the biggest car photography pages in Australia! /wildhopesanddreams
