The strings catching the sun's light remind me of those near Yellowstone's hot springs.
This room in an old home at the Comet Ghost Town is one of my favorites.
The staircase just seems to add the right amount of composition and atmosphere, while the windows provide a view out to the "present world."
Out for a relaxing walk at a nature reserve near us. There are so many interesting things to take in and photo - though it can always get a bit cluttered with so much nature in the photos - I am happy with this one.

When the power goes out you work with a flashlight. I'm making a rag quilt for a friend and had to do something so the little flashlight sure did come in handy to work on the project.
Sadly, my friend has cancer and I hope to get this to her before Christmas.
All the rain we have received appears to have caused a slip-out of the new grade at control point Gary. This is near the same spot where a slip-out occurred when they were building the new alignment. CN 2131 was the power and MOW used Missabe side-dumps filled with rip-rap that was loaded at Steelton yard.

I think I need to move on from Go NW a little as it is overrunning my Flickr, but yesterday I managed to catch 37382 (MX58DWN) on its return from Thornton’s after repaint, so why not.
All the ex-First Hybrids received a full refurbishment at Thornton’s as expected but the rumour machine had the standard B9’s as surplus and would be phased out like the B7’s which are already going.
I heard differently and when time permitted the plan would be to treat the B9’s to a simple repaint enabling a few more years’ service and sure enough at a planned rate of three per week they are being so treated at Thornton’s.
Plans change as did the livery and the 07 plates were to be repainted before the 58’s and the 58’s would receive a little more attention than a simple repaint when their turn came, however 37382 was dispatched out of order on the 6th Dec and returned from Thornton’s today.
The observant will notice the hand rails are now orange not blue and I believe the wheels have been shot blasted before paint, it hasn’t however had a re trim as was suggested but I have since been told that will be done before it goes back in service.
It will be interesting to see if the 07’s return with orange rails and get the re trim.
Old London Road is also home to Kingston Antiques Centre, where there are more than 100 dealers offering a startling array of antiques and quality vintage items. The large, rambling building provides space over two floors and has retained some of its original features that provide nooks and crannies framed by an imposing double staircase.
Well-known within the antiques trade it attracts dealers from all over the world and is a favourite filming location for the media, hosting programmes such as Bargain Hunt, The Bill, House Gift and Law & Order.
Specialist dealers here offer everything from furniture to clocks and watches, silver and gold items, mirrors, paintings, sculptures and prints. One of the largest collections of vintage jewellery in the south of England is also housed in a series of cabinets lining the walls. While the Vintage Fashion Room features a collection of clothes from the 40s, Retro, 80s plus designer wear.
I only allow human eyes about twice a year, for a few minutes to a few hours. It's because I'm inherently evil. The perspective distortion makes my jaw-line look noticeably smaller.
Yes this tiny platform seems pretty flimsy when you’re being flown around the Space Station 😨. Third time is a charm! After two spacewalks with some technical hitches, this third round couldn't have gone better. Two new solar panels installed, and a high-five to everybody involved, on Earth, inside the Space Station and of course to my spacewalk buddy Shane!
Oui, je confirme que le marchepied paraît un peu branlant quand on se tient dessus pour être transporter autour de la Station en plein vide. Cette fois ça y est, on a eu une sortie nominale, sans même avoir à improviser un peu de bricolage ou rentrer temporairement dans le sas pour une vérification de scaphandre. *Presque* facile comparée aux deux premières ;) On est quand même épuisés… mais surtout soulagés ! Les deux panneaux solaires sont installés et opérationnels, bravo à toutes les équipes ! 💪

Today's disorder is a very broad termed one. I am trying to go alphabetically an the only thing other than "eating disorder" that began with "e" involved feces and urine, so i stayed away from those.
Plus i think eating disorders are a serious serious issue that should be made aware.
Let me touch on the actual picture for a moment. i am well aware that my body looks totally deformed and ab normal... i did that with the intention of portraying how people with eating disorders usually view themselves. A deformed and distorted view of reality.

An eating disorder is characterized by abnormal eating habits that may involve either insufficient or excessive food intake to the detriment of an individuals physical and emotional health. The causes of eating disorders are complex and not yet fully understood. Eating disorders are estimated to affect 5-10 million females and 1 million males in the United States.[1] Although not yet classified as separate disorder, binge eating disorder[2] is the most common eating disorder in the United States affecting 3.5% of females and 2% of males according to a study by Harvard affiliated McLean Hospital. This quick pic is inspired by our house at the moment - with rooms emptied out, everything is dumped in strange places (and impossible to find...). This was a dress mirror temporarily living in front of a bathroom mirror. And I literally had to dig through stuff to find my tripod and camera.
