126 in 2026: 71/126 (Nature Patterns)
There was a brief moment of walking in the rain today, so I took a few images in quest of backjets. I've been looking into different ideas to make them look the way I want and discovered some issues I tried correcting in these two images:
1) Clearview and contrast enhancement should mainly be applied to the zone of focus (do not make bokeh background crispy)
2) Try cropping for the color, not the subjects (Saul Leiter abstraction) as was done here.

We have a small box of glass Christmas tree ornaments from a late relative that we look into whenever we break one. This year I found something different: a die cast locomotive intended to be hung on the tree.

I find it best expressed through movement -

美しい脚の形 ,女性脚, 美脚, The Fine Art of Photography,kichijoji sakruamakoto
私の妻は、この作品が、美しい脚であることは認めるてはいるが、「足の大きさ」を、指摘する。
私は全体として美しい作品と考えているが、彼女は、この作品の「足」の大きさが不快なようである。
女性は、足が小さい。男性は大きい。
さて困ったな。私の足は、身長に比例して、当然ながら大きいのである。
美的な感じから言うと、左足大腿部前面が、筋肉が目立つ。これは美的ではない。美は、常に優雅と曲線美とにある。「大柄な美脚」と、タイトルしたのは、そういう意味で、しかしながら、この脚の、事実を記録する点からは、やはり示しておく。

I start with an idea and get to a stopping point, look at it, and think "this is terrible!" So I work on it again, making it less terrible, until - finally - I achieve something that pleases me.

Technical trivia
Stereo realist loaded with long expired Kodak gold 400, causing images to be underexposed. BW conversion (DXO filmpack 3, Ilford HPS 800 preset) and noise reduction (Noiseware Pro, default setting) gave the most pleasing result.
Image manipulations and gif generation done with StereoPhotoMaker, a freeware program by Masuji Suto & David Sykes.
The Walker Art Center is hosting an exhibition of David Hockney paintings, through which a guard was restlessly strolling. Paintings in the background are rendered in false color due to subtraction of one color layer as the moving subject passed.

Pulling those notes out of the guitar with fingers blurring
up and down the well worn frets,
The music flowed around us with an urgent murmuring
as the crowd swayed with the sets.
Those high notes sang clear
and thrumming bass filled our hearts.
As sweet, smoke-filled air

近年、高画質と称して、ピクセル数、ドット数、センサーの複雑かつ精緻化が進む。とともに、機材が異常に高価なものとなっている。そしてそれは売れているのだそうである。
現実の対象を写し取るだけのものなのに、行き過ぎに感じる。
撮影画像、写真作品は、シャッターを押せば、機械が出力する画像である。
撮影画像は、実物を想像することができればいい。極端に言えば、おぼろげな影が映っていれば、よい。
私は、私の画像作品を、常に、リサイズやコピーを繰り返して、画質を極端に低下させている。
現実の形態こそがすべてなのだ。画質がどうだの、サイズが小さいだの、解像度がどうだの、そんなことは、現実の対象と関係がない。高価なカメラを持つことで、満足する人もいる。カメラ（道具）の機械的出力結果にばかり、こだわることは、意味がないように思う。しかし、当然ながら、よりいっそうの機械的性能の「高度化」を追求するのは資本主義の基盤である。
「写真」は、美術作品と言うよりは、趣味の分野の行為であり、まさにアートワールドの中での、約束事によって、生き延びている。

脚画像の作品ばかりで、自分でも不思議の感がある。脚に特化した画像を出しているわけだが、実のところ、被写体は何でもいい。庭の花とか、山とか自然でも、建物でも、それは撮影者の問題であって、個人の趣味だろうから、各人の自由である。
私は脚をのみ、撮る。被写体として、興味深い。しかも美しさを感じる。手軽だし、自己の健康にも寄与している。ほとんど世界初の試みである（それはそうである。私にとって世界初だからだ。このあたりは実存論である）

美しい脚は元から美しい。これは、男女とも十歳前後で自覚する。統計を取ったわけではないが、同様の発言を、美脚な人の複数から聞いたので、どうやら、美しい脚をもつ人は、少年少女で、すでに自分の脚の美を自覚していたことになる。

no new fabrics...just scraps on the table that needs to be cleaned up.... handy purse/ bags, to hang around the neck...will hold a credit card, a comb, reading glasses.... a key...etc..etc.. and act as a substitute for jewellery as well..
Some of these will go with me on my next trip...and they look like acceptable gift items... ( already having been admired by friends...)
this morning, I made a bigger one which will hold the above, plus a small water bottle....keeping my hands free for important things like...cameras !!
