ORIGINS is a group exhibition that explores the relationships between humanity and the physical world and how those relationships have a profound effect on our society. This exhibition explores the overwhelming forces around us that are shaping the way we live, dictating our lives and pulling us like a tide to the future. Artists Katie Reilly, Antoneisha Harper, and Darren Mann examine topics such as how we live, the creation of America, mass consumerism, and the idea that a single occurrence no matter how small can change the course of the universe forever.

I got this shirt on my first trip to Origin--bought it from the company store.

It's seen better days--one of the only shirts in the collection that I actually wear (hence the damage)

The origins of the fair related to St Giles' Church at the north end of St Giles'. This was originally completed in 1120, but the church was not actually consecrated until 1200, by St Hugh of Lincoln, a Carthusian monk and bishop. As part of the commemoration of the consecration, St Giles' Fair was established. The fair continues to this day, nowadays as a funfair, held on the Monday and Tuesday after the Sunday following 1 September, which is St Giles' Day.Autumn 2012

OK, since "Wolverine Origins" opens today, I was going to take a pic of my Wolverine figure...but I can't find him. I've looked everywhere...maybe he's gone to the movie premiere. If Barbie's convertible is missing, I'll start to get concerned, lol. ;D

So since I couldn't post a new pic of Wolvie...I thought I'd take a pic of one of my *other* Wolverines!

I don't think I've posted this guy before: talking Wolverine (with retractable claws!) from the first X-Men movie. Man, I remember I was so stoked when I finally found him in the toy store. :D He's almost 2 feet tall & he says things like "I'm Wolverine, and I'm the best at what I do." and "Mutant attack flip!" LOL. And I am not making this up, but sometimes, Wolverine will say random things, even when he is turned OFF. LOL :D

Pyrénées Orientales ~ Languedoc-Roussillon

Catalunya Nord

Origine
