The Salomon Jewel Origin's are a gorgeous pair of skis. With hand-laid fresh flowers under the tough topsheet the sweet looks belie one of the most versatile and tougher skis in Salomon's women's line. The 74 mm underfoot is capable of skiing offpiste and yet still laying down a decent carve on the firmer stuff.
Available in a limited edition and at quite a hefty price last season the success of an expert womens ski with a feminine look has been proven and this year the Origin is widely available and should be a first port of call for the experienced skier looking for a one ski does it all offer.
Grippy, lively, great in medium to larger turns the Origin is an excellent pair of skis for the adventurous advaced skier or expert who has her racing days behind her but fun days ahead.
This lineup begins on Linz's Main Square, proceeds clear across the Nibelungen Bridge, right through the AEC and out into the Ars Electronica Quarter. It's made up of countless young experts who, on Saturday, September 3 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM, demonstrate their skills as well as discuss and make available their specialized knowledge. Pueblo Nuevo presents, ORIGIN, the first solo exhibit by Oree Original (aka Daniel Jimenez). This new series of paintings are intensely bright, kaleidoscope-like puzzles that evoke pre-Columbian iconography remixed with Oree's personal mythology of our universe. Triangles, circles, squares and lines are used to construct complicated hypnotic patterns which form larger entities. Different combinations of these basic shapes, coupled with the vibrating relationships of solid colors give Oree's creations a seemingly infinite life with endless possibilities of their origins.
Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Oree moved to the Bay Area to begin an internship with Pueblo Nuevo and continue building on a career as a self taught visual artist. Currently residing in Berkeley, Oree has gained quite a reputation on dance floors of nightclubs and house parties all over the Bay. Only being kicked out of a handful of venues, he continues to steal hearts with his impeccable flowing locks.

ll lago di Viverone (lagh ëd Vivron in piemontese) è il terzo lago più grande della regione Piemonte in Italia, situato nell'estrema parte orientale del Canavese, tra la parte meridionale della provincia di Biella, sotto il comune di Viverone per 5/6, e sotto il lido di Anzasco, frazione di Piverone già provincia di Torino, per 1/6.
È un lago di origine glaciale, formatosi durante l'era quaternaria (così come i tanti laghi a ridosso delle Alpi), provvisto di immissari ed emissari sotterranei.
Oltre che importante risorsa ittica e turistica, il lago di Viverone è un importante sito archeologico di reperti preistorici dell'Età del Bronzo.
Nel 2005 è stato riconosciuto sito di interesse comunitario (codice: IT1110020).
Après être tombé sous le charme et le fun de la démo de Rayman Origins, je me suis pré-commander en début de semaine le jeu dans son édition collector. Et même si encore une fois la plupart des grandes enseignes avaient lâché le jeu en avance, j’ai préféré profiter d’une petite réduction sur le site de la Fnac.
La Fnac a vraiment confiance en la poste (ou s’en bats les cou**** de nos articles) puisque j’ai reçu le coffret collector de Rayman dans une enveloppe! Heureusement il n’est pas abîmé, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi je m’attendais a recevoir un colis avec quelque chose d’un peu plus grand. Finalement la boite en carton est équivalente à deux boîtiers dvd l’un sur l’autre.
Elle s’ouvre du côté droit pour faire apparaître un sympathique popup comme on trouve dans certains bouquins pour enfants, mais malheureusement l’assemblage n’est pas de très bonne qualité et il faut en plus à chaque fois tout déplier pour récupérer le contenu.
L’idée du popup était vraiment très bonne, mais je suis vraiment déçu qu’il soit aussi petit et qu’on ne puisse pas le détacher de la boite.
A l’intérieur on retrouve le jeu dans sa version classique. Bon évidemment j’aurais préféré un jolie boitier steelbook, mais comme le jeu était prévu en dématérialiser à la base je suis tout de même content de voir Ubisoft sortir Rayman Origins en version boite et sans DLC.
Dans la boite on y trouve aussi la bande son du jeu sur un cd avec 36 morceaux composés par Christophe Heral et Billy Martin.
Place ensuite au petit artbook de 50 pages où on y trouve des concepts arts et des croquis regroupés sous la forme de petites histoires rigolote…
Avec d’un côté les gentils dont Rayman et Globox…
…Et de l’autre les méchants tous plus bizarre les uns que les autres avec une mention spéciale à la grand-mère.
Au final, même si le coffret popup est un peu décevant et l’artbook trop petit, il n’en reste pas moins que l’ensemble est vraiment sympathique d’autant plus qu’il est vendu moins de 60€ sur Amazon et que le jeu est tout simplement une petite merveille!

Little is known of the origins of the Church of St Martin, but it dates back at least to the Middle Ages. Christianity was brought here by people such as St David at Llanthony, and St Issui at Partrishow. It is more than likely that there was a church at Cwmyoy before the Norman Conquest.
The present church is dedicated to St Martin of Tours, which is not a common dedication in Monmouthshire. There was an ancient chapel at Bwlch Trewyn also bearing the dedication to St Martin. All traces of this chapel have disappeared. Both these churches would have been on the Pilgrim route to St David's in Pembrokeshire. In medieval times, two pilgrimages to St David's were considered the equivalent of one pilgrimage to Rome - an indication of how rough and hazardous travelling was at that time.
After the Norman Conquest the church came under the jurisdiction of Llanthony Priory which was founded in 1100 AD. The Manor of Cwmyoy was conferred to the Priory by Hugh de Lacy, son of the founder of the Priory, William de Lacy.
On 8th June 1538, after the Dissolution of the Monasteries, Llanthony Priory, together with all the manors and churches under its control were given to Sir Nicholas Arnold, the Lord Chief Justice of Ireland.
During the monastic days, Cwmyoy was served by monks sent out by the Prior. After the dissolution, curates were appointed, but the names of those serving in the 17th century have never been recorded.
During the 18th century Cwmyoy became a perpetual curacy. Finally in 1830 it became a Vicarage, being formally joined to Llanthony. This was a formal recognition of an existing arrangement, since the curates had always shared both benefices.
To bring the record up to date, the two parishes of Cwmyoy and Llanthony became part of a larger grouping in 1969 when these parishes came together with Llanfihangel Crucorney and Oldcastle; in the 1990s Oldcastle church was closed, and the three remaining parishes joined to become the united parish of Llanfihangel Crucorney.
The name Cwmyoy - a phonetic spelling of the Monmouthshire pronunciation of "cwm lau" - means "valley (cwm) of the yoke (lau)" in reference to the curved shape of the valley near the church cutting deep into Hatterrall Hill behind (along which runs part of the long-distance trail, Offa's Dyke Path).
The Church of St Martin is probably unique. No part of it is square or at right angles with any other part. This striking irregularity is accounted for by the geology of the underlying rock. The shifting subsoil has caused the church to move, tilting to the north at the tower end and to the south, forward of the small window at the west end of the north wall. If you look towards the altar from inside the tower, you will see that the tower arch tilts to the left, and the chancel arch and east window tilt markedly to the right.
The tower itself, at the NW corner, leans 5.2 degrees out of perpendicular. The two large buttresses to support it were built in the 1960s.
The interior of the church is simple: it has a nave, chancel, tower and porch, and dates mainly from the 13th to 16th centuries. The remains of a stair in the chancel would have led to a rood loft (probably destroyed during the Reformation).
The church was restored in 1887, when the plaster ceiling of the nave was removed, and it is possible that moulded plaster decorations set in the porch wall are remnants of the ceiling.
There are interesting wall memorials, many of which are by members of the Bute family who carved many memorials in and around the churches of the Black Mountains.
The medieval cross in the centre of the church was dug up in 1861 at the nearby farm, and placed in the church in 1935. An unusual feature is the mitre with three crosses on the head of Christ. The chamfered edges indicate it is post-Conquest.
The simple font is medieval, the pulpit is 19th century.
On the 14th of September, 1982, a girl was born to this couple here. Ever since she poked her head out to the world, the first remark from people was that she was a carbon copy of her dad.
It was as if someone cloned the dad, she inherited the same lips, chin, eyes, eyebrows, and thick wiry hair.
But as she grew older, more and more people started to comment how she and her mother looked like sisters. To which she cheekily comments, "So are you saying my mom looks young, or do I look old?"

Governor Kay Ivey participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for Blue Origin’s new Engine Production Facility Friday January 21, 2019 in Huntsville, Ala. In June 2017, Governor Ivey announced that Blue Origin selected Huntsville, Alabama for this new, state-of-the art, 200,000 square-foot production facility. •BE-4 and BE-U3 engines will be produced at this new facility.
The facility is being located in Cummings Research Park, the nation’s second-largest research park. Blue Origin will employ up to 342 people at this facility and will make an investment of approximately $200 million in the state. (Governor's Office/Hal Yeager)

Recreation of the originial 1970 Bertone concept car that was designed for Bertone by Marcello Gandini and presented at the 1970 Geneva Car Show. The original Garmisch has been destroyed. This car has been recreated by the BMW Design team of Adrian van Hooydonk in cooperation with Marcello Gandini and was presented at the 2019 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa D'Este.
