Baseball on 4x4 MDF
I used white acrylic to paint the ball then covered it in tempered glass. Made laces using slivers of red stained glass. Added blue glass around it and grouted it all in white. Painted around the ball in a water wash in blue.
I'm pleased that it looks like a baseball. Being more into abstract I wasn't sure I could make it look like one. I'll glue a few bails on this and attach a ribbon after the back is painted. Next for this customer is a catcher's mask. Yikes. That one may take a while.
