For "Our Daily Challenge ... seen in a store". Didn't get out today. It's cold and wet and I'm looking after the boys because their Mummy is sick now too. I I quite like mail order shopping though and the sale catalogue came yesterday.
As we were driving back to the hotel after feeding the birds, I spotted this dead tree at the side of the road, with carvings of birds all up its trunk, like a totem pole. A plaque alongside explained it is called the Pecking Order Pole and was created by Andy Hancock of Australia in 1997. Cool!

As part of Vivid Live, legendary British rock and dance band, New Order, did four shows at the Sydney Opera House - two with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and two on their own, running June 2-5, 2016. This album highlights the June 4, 2016, show with the ACO.
These cool letters are created by pressing newsprint paper pulp into plastic letter shaped molds. The letters are left to dry and then decoupaged with vintage sewing patterns using Mod Podge. The letters measure between 2.5" and 3" high.
In order to qualify to drive these karts we had to first prove our skills on the slick track and super track and then pass a written test.

after a series of warnings, fines and a death: Club Love NYC was closed. this was probably a good thing, as the last couple of shows were spent amongst new york's finest. this collage used the actual restraining order posted on the gate when the club was shut down.
