Bus Operator Ian Hanley is presented with a Certificate of Commendation from MTA Bus President/NYCT SVP of Buses Frank Annicaro at the Gun Hill Depot on Wednesday, Dec 13, 2023. Hanley was behind the wheel of a Bx40 on West Burnside Ave. Monday afternoon when a building facade at 1915 Billingsley Terr. collapsed in front of his bus. Hanley ensured the safe evacuation of the bus.

The Chesebrough factory at 1970 Dandenong Road, Clayton, was officially opened on 1 October, 1953. Processing and packing Vaseline brand products, the factory cost about £250, 000 to build.
It was announced in April 1955 that Chesebrough and Pond's would merge, a process formalised in mid-1955 creating Chesebrough-Pond's. In July it was reported that the new company's Australian headquarters would be the existing Chesebrough site in Clayton.

After a very long day that started with not being able to hear the prompt, I was praying for an "easy" one today. How cool was it that I had just the perfect photo to go on a layout (thank you Lain and the scrapgods).
When my grandmother died, my husband and I were also looking to move and being back home led us to deciding to move back. When we went to set up our phone service I asked the phone company if I could have my grandmother's number and they said "yes" so the phone number has been in the family for 60 years and despite evolving technology I refuse to give up my land-line for sentimental reasons.
These were all taken along the grain silo railway near Highway 55 in Minneapolis.
My first roll on my Moskva V. I had set up the camera to shoot 6x9 negatives but was advancing the film using the 6x6 setting. So a lot of overlap & double exposure here.
On the plus side, the camera seems technically sound. Focus appears to work. Lens seems good. I just need to practice with it more.
Oh, also my scanner can't handle 6x9 negatives. Which made this even weirder. In future I'll have to use a different scanner or stitch two scans together.
Shot on a Moskva 5 using very old T-Max 100. Pulled 1 stop due to age. Developed in Cinestill df96. Scanned using my Olympus OM-D E-M53 and a Takumar 50/4 macro.
