Bus Operator Ian Hanley is presented with a Certificate of Commendation from MTA Bus President/NYCT SVP of Buses Frank Annicaro at the Gun Hill Depot on Wednesday, Dec 13, 2023. Hanley was behind the wheel of a Bx40 on West Burnside Ave. Monday afternoon when a building facade at 1915 Billingsley Terr. collapsed in front of his bus. Hanley ensured the safe evacuation of the bus.

....and yet I have a photo taken 6 years later that has the same driver on the same route. Whereas it was an Arriva Metrorider that was being driven through Swaledale, the self same driver has switched firms and now works for Dales and District on the service 30.
This is taken between Grinton and the Downholme Fork, part of the route that will survive when council cuts see the upper Swaledale section (west of Reeth) converted to Dial a Ride
HONOLULU HI - The National Association of Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) conducted its Tactical Operators Course. Students from the Coast Guard and the Hawaii Harbor Police participated and were certified by NASBLA.
These were all taken along the grain silo railway near Highway 55 in Minneapolis.
My first roll on my Moskva V. I had set up the camera to shoot 6x9 negatives but was advancing the film using the 6x6 setting. So a lot of overlap & double exposure here.
On the plus side, the camera seems technically sound. Focus appears to work. Lens seems good. I just need to practice with it more.
Oh, also my scanner can't handle 6x9 negatives. Which made this even weirder. In future I'll have to use a different scanner or stitch two scans together.
Shot on a Moskva 5 using very old T-Max 100. Pulled 1 stop due to age. Developed in Cinestill df96. Scanned using my Olympus OM-D E-M53 and a Takumar 50/4 macro.
