Day Ten: Lewis is going to be surprised when he meets a woman who doesn't immediately produce a stethoscope and listen to his innards.

This time round, Anglian’s Norwich Telecan Manager, Kendall Jarrett, and 10 of her friends will be getting involved with running a 5k race to help raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital charity, Race For The Kids.

Day Three: Some of the many tubes going into Lewis.

She had a heart catheterization Thursday, February 9th and they determined that she will need her third open heart surgery in the near future and another surgery in the distant future. I took this picture when she was in the hospital before Christmas. She had congestive heart problems at that time.

Day Ten ICU: Getting cleaned-up to be moved back to the cardiac ward.

He designed and scrounged his own costume at Toast! 2005, unprompted. And the ladies made him feel like the most popular guy there!

Day Two: Happy to have the tube out of his mouth.

Day One: He would sometimes stir and grimace in an effort to get away from this tube. He did not like it at all.

Her surgery was extremely complicated, so to have the very best surgeon has us all very grateful for his and his team's exceptional skill.

Day Eight: They tried but never found the right place for the new IV. It ended up being put in his foot.

Day One: Tubed in ICU.

it's fading somewhat; but i try to never let the lesson fade -- life is short and comes with no guarantees.... just possibilities.

This is Mya, her grandparents and big brother Quez. She has a large piece of candy in her mouth and I didn't have the heart to take it out before the picture (she needs all the calories she can get!!)

Day Nine ICU: He spent much of the day in ICU sleeping, lethargic.

Day Five: Dr. Campbell beginning the process of removing Lewis' chest tube and pacemaker wires.

Day Three: Sucking back mom's milk in ICU.

Day Three: Lewis' new room in the cardiac ward, complete with natural light.

Day Three: Lewis being moved from the Intensive Care Unit up to the cardiac ward.

Day One: He had to have his hands restrained lest he start pulling his tubes and wires out.

Day Ten: The elevators to the cardiac ward (3M) are around this corner and to the left.

Day Ten ICU: Karla spent a lot of time holding the bundled Lewis.
