Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep, Impossible Project x Ace Hotel PX600 UV+ Silver Shade film.
Las Vegas, NV
My first time attempting night photography with a Polaroid camera, tripod, Polaroid tripod mount #111, and the red button (long exposure cord); I'm pretty happy with the results!
After owning a Polaroid camera for more than ten years, this is the year I've finally managed to take one good photo, with the whole frame filled with image, with the entire frame filled with emulsion. Finally!
Here, concrete beams somewhere on Rijeka's university campus.
Taken with Polaroid OneStep 1000 instant camera, on Polaroid Originals B&W SX-70 instant film. Scanned with Epson XP-225 all-in-one scanner I found connected to my dad's computer. Good enough!
Apparently, I've colour-corrected this photo just a wee bit different than the other two, so this one looks different. In real life, all three look exactly the same.

Next up with my OneStep+ was a standard b/w polaroid pack with white frames. Something was off with the package as seen in some of the shots, but it still rendered some interesting results. Shot during the fall of 2020.
Taken with Polaroid OneStep+ analog camera. Polaroid Originals I-Type instant b/w film, slightly expired.
As I was driving out for work this morning couldn't help notice someone had dropped a 55 Gallon drum, a rather handsome one at that, in the old Cul-de-sac. Given the colour I thought it would be a good subject for the Polaroid 600 Color film. Trying to choose carefully with only 5 shots left in the pack. Scanner adjustments rendered this with a bit more saturation than the print, but I'm going with it.
I've got a thing for the 55 Gallon drum and now have ten galleries of photos from around Flickrland.

I've cropped out the black frame on this and the earlier Black Frame posts and added the white border because I find the Flickr black background most unsuitable for this type of image.

I had fun trying a little experiment at Mardi Gras this year. I not only had my Nikon with me for shooting, and of course my phone/iPhone, but also had my little Polaroid Snap, AND the old Polaroid OneStep Express! SO! I tried capturing a similar shot with all 4 of them! FUN to see in this way! I was truly juggling cameras!
