ROID WEEK - DAY 2
I'm musing about our recent trip to Jamaica to celebrate my 40th birthday on Mortal Muses today, and sharing the polaroids from my trip. You can read about my trip here: Polaroid in Paradise.

The camera came from the dump, loaded with a pack of old Polaroid film, the vintage stuff. I have since transferred that film into a cassette with working batteries. I hope to share the results of that experiment soon.

another from last weekend. (If the guitar looks small, it is. It's a Baby Taylor that we bought him when he was 8 or 9.)

THE REMEDIAL TABLETOP SHOOTER STRIKES AGAIN!
This little camera is just a fun thing to hang on a keychain. It doesn’t work, but if you push the shutter button it spits out a little piece of film. Sound effects included. It’s spring driven, so no batteries are required. The U.S. Penny is for scale.
I shot this with my iPad Pro (12.9 in.) 4th Generation. This is my second attempt to make a photo that I could easily edit. I didn’t know how much dust and hairs etc. were on that OneStop. Snapseed’s Healing Tool helped me get rid of most of it. Whew!
After owning a Polaroid camera for more than ten years, this is the year I've finally managed to take one good photo, with the whole frame filled with image, with the entire frame filled with emulsion. Finally!.

Taken with Polaroid OneStep 1000 instant camera, on Polaroid Originals B&W SX-70 instant film. Scanned with Epson XP-225 all-in-one scanner I found connected to my dad's computer. Good enough!

my niece India took this photo -- we found some polaroid film in the playroom closet, and popped it in to their OneStep -- and almost all the images came out blank, or deeply screwed up, and sometimes wouldn't pop out at all... so i have zero memory of how we ended up with either two or three (?) exposures on this image, but we did, and so here's the result: India's version of the view out my window
which is completely awesome
