My co-worker, Rory, new I was obsessed with mobile photography and posting photos instantly on Instagram. For Christmas he got me this! The original instant photography. I took it on a road trip last weekend and realized how photogenic it was sitting on the dash. Here's a shot of it with some car headlight bokeh.

Three cameras, three films.

I recently acquired this potted tree from a neighbor. It's in a pretty small pot, so I'm sure it needs repotting. I'm going to have to smash this nice pot in order to remove it. The trunk was surrounded by sedum, which kept it moist, but perhaps too much so, such that the trunk was soft, like the beginning of rot. So I pulled out all the sedum and I got a good look at the base and surface roots. It's a beautiful tree and has a strong "shari" (otherwise known as deadwood) running up one side. I'm very excited to work with it.
