I took this image of the One Vanderbilt in New York City from my view on the Empire State Building. This photo was taken on my Nikon D3500, DSLR. This building stood out to me as it towered above the rest in the city, and had the late afternoon sun shining on it.

Taken during the 2006 winter in Oz @ the northern end of the Putty Road.........just before the actual Putty begins.
In Sweden, when it becomes summertimes, we adjust the clock one hour forward. The morning and eveningsun will emerge and remain longer in the sky. This is an advantages for photographers who like to take pictures in the sunsetlight as they have one more hour to use.
A short little road trip with the GF out to see what we could find. We got some decent shots and found a few places that will be lovely when Spring hits.

Glen Matlock, Earl Slick, Jim Lowe & Chris Musto @ The Bungalow
Paisley’s Bungalow Bar saw one of Britain’s music legends and father of punk, Glen Matlock took to the stage where many before long started their careers while passing through the streets of paisley and into music history. So it was no surprise when Glen Matlock, ex bassist of the SEX PISTOLS graced the stage of the Bungalow along with giants in their own right from Earl Slick, Jim Lowe and Chris Musto.
Many will know guitarist Earl Slick who’s played with many bands and none other than David Bowie himself. While Jim Lowe the Grammy-Award producer on bass, whose credits includes The Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Much like drummer Chris Musto, whose lengthy credits have seen his career touch giants like Joe Strummer, Johnny Thunders and Nico, while working with artists like The Clash, The Rolling Stones and Queen etc…..
So it was no surprise these musicians put on a great show where no one left or missed a beat, while hanging around long after the band exited the stage to mingle with the band members and have their memorabilia signed while I snapped everyone all having a great time. Much like I shot Alan McEwen and Tommy McGrory who couldn’t wait to be snapped with their hero’s as they all came together to continue the bungalow very own and lengthy music history.
This was cracking night folks where another set of music giants had their names chalked off and passed through the streets of paisley and into the doors of the Bungalow Bar. As for what’s coming next is down to you folks getting out there and helping paisley keep music live and kicking.

Square One Launching Spring 2010
In the past several years, many clothing companies and fashion designers have spent their time trying to recreate old band shirts and flooding the market with pop culture graphic tees. To keep cost down and their businesses successful, many have moved overseas.
With Drifter Industries, we have, from the start, stuck to creating fresh graphics and kept our clothing American-made. As designers we know that working as locally as possible has influenced not only our graphic direction but our fit and silhouette as well.
Square One is born from the same concept as Drifter -- well-made clothing influenced by vintage Americana but with a futuristic slant. Instead of using the shirt as a canvas for artwork, the mission is to develop styles that speak for themselves and use meticulous detailing as the heart of "future classic."

Taken at 2:05 pm (Alaska time). A dark gray overcast above most of Southcentral Alaska makes things darker than usual. However, the sun sets at 3:44 pm local time today so it's pretty low on the horizon already.
Heat rising above the city prevents a crisp view of Mt. McKinley, which is some 140 miles north of Anchorage. Notice how I managed to capture a Super Cub and Navajo in the image? :-)
Both departed Merrill Field; the Navajo just moments before, the Super Cub about 1/2 hour earlier. LOL
