As beautiful and wonderful as nature is, it is also often brutal and tough to survive in for many animals. It's amazing that maimed creatures like this often go on to survive and to carry on quite well despite their condition...

Two VH-3D helicopters arrive at Winfield House, the Official Residence of the US Ambassador. One is "Marine One" carrying the President of the United States and First Lady, the other members of his senior staff.
This looks bad, but the rider walked out of the pen, although a little wobbly. He mustered enough dignity to hobble out on one boot while the clown brought him the other one. It ended up at the other end of the pen!
