Take during an organized walk with some friends. We met, to take some pictures of the various under ground stations here in Munich.
Goal was to take pictures of several stations within Munic. There is even an dedicated group on flickr, www.flickr.com/groups/u-bahn-muenchen/
For this trip, we decided on line U2, starting from the final stop Feldmoching towards main station.
A breath of fresh air, after leaving the station Dülfer Straße, with a short stop the surface to the colorful surface of the shopping mall Mira. Smaller part of the wall in even light.
And if you look carefully, on the brighter parts there are reflections from the clouds above.
Gosling at Cahir Castle Tipperary Ireland...

I took previous in-camera double exposure photos on this beach in 2019. I returned in October 2021 and took some more....
This photo was exhibited at the Open Gallery in Halifax, West Yorkshire from 18th August to 3rd September. The exhibition was called 'Open Mind' and showed various types of artwork from a number of people. This photo was chosen for the cover of the exhibition book that's available on line.
Fraisthorpe Beach is in East Yorkshire. It has suffered from coastal erosion over the years. Various concrete sea defences from the second World War have shifted position since the 1940s. The structures in the centre of the photo are 'pill boxes', ie look-out bunkers. Those on the right are, I believe, tank traps.
The beach is popular with walkers, bathers, surfers and, of course, dogs.
Fairly new GE B23-7 2201 is leading XW-1 southward on the main line passing the former location of the Millbury rr station. The 2201 was built by GE for the P&W in March of 1978. XW-1 will head south and work all on line customers to Woonsocket and work the Slatersville Secondary.

Remote learning, phone visit to your doctor, virtual concerts, grocery truck delivery, robots take-out delivery, zoom business meetings. Those are only some of the changes and benefits mankind experienced in last 2 years. Remote Colonoscopy is much less invasive, having a boss looking over your shoulder is the thing of the past.
The photo is of course 'Fake News'; a benefit of the Trump era, which will continue ad nauseum. The kids are not studying; they are following the adventure of Wuggy Huggy or is it "Huggy Wuggy"? If you do not know what it is, don't worry, you did not miss anything.

This is complicated (at least for me).
All of this begs the question - who was the first pair of Royal Terns that came up with these mating rituals? And Why. And how did humans follow in their footsteps with equally weird mating rituals, engagements and weddings, receptions and marriage. If birds could go on-line, would they use on-line chat and dating sites as a resource to find a mate?

All five of the young swans have left the family now, and are apparentily off on their own. So the two parents glide along on the water in late afternoon as it shimmers in the sun. [DSC00696_lr_3000]
I'm finally back on line with a new PC monitor. The old one broke down during the Christmas holidays after ten years hooked up to a few successive computers below (and more recently on) my desk.

To my friends & followers: I will be away travelling May 16-22. I will have hotel internet access and an iPad, but my time on-line will be quite limited.
A still life photo of a cup of black coffee in a porcelain cup sitting on a doily. A yellow chrysanthemum, a book, vintage eye glasses and flower petals complete the composition. The photo was color-graded to a high-key finish with a light film emulsion added in Photoshop.
A rapid transit station on line U4 of the Hamburg U-Bahn network in the district of HafenCity in central Hamburg, Germany.
The color of light changes automatically every few seconds and is reflected by metal panels covering the walls and ceiling.
Public transport is so punctual in Hamburg that I could only capture the trains with one single set of lights.
Due to track reconstructions on railway line 110, freight trains trying to reach Mátészalka from the west are rerouted on line 111, which provides some picturesque backgrounds for train spotters.
On this photo, the brand new looking shiny M62 127 can be seen with its single tank wagon, rolling under Nagydobos village.
