I think I may have over processed this. Due to not having a nd grad on me that day I used a full .9 nd filter and put it on what i thought was the horizon. You may notice a slight tonal change in the water just below the horizon, I lightened this slightly and tried to correct for a slight colour cast(not that well I have to say). I have added a blue filter to the sky in P/s and this is where i may have overdone things.
Not really, but it might make a good title for a quarterly comp! Image over processed and I've made it little noisy.
Taken as part of the YPS summer program at St. Edburgha's Church Yardley
(Yardley Photographic Society Meets up every Tuesday at 19:45 at the Old School Hall, St. Edburgha's Church Yardley - Check out www.YardleyPS.co.uk for more details)
Be honest, does this look over-processed? I'm not sure if I like this, I know I can do better for sure...
She's a cutie though at two years and a half. We kept taking pictures of her because she was cooperative. I think she totally stole the attention from the party.
And I learned that little Chinese girls do not like my Chinese. Haha. I said hello to her and she looked to Moo for help. :P
I was experimenting in Matt's bathroom the other night trying to get one of those evocative low-light self-portraits with the light striped by the louvered blinds on a moonlit night, but the light was just too too low to accomplish it. I decided to process -and in this case over-process- the shots anyway and this is what I got from one of them. ooooOOOOoooo. Cool abstract though, eh?
Argent was sitting on my lap this afternoon and hence a valid target for picture taking (and heavy over-processing)...
This is my cousin sarah who asked me to shoot some senior pictures for her.
I have never done it before so this is my first attempt with the help of my photo friend Vicky Bennett.
In post processing I did a bit of touching up. They may look a little over processed but this is my first crack at this.
ENJOY!
In a fit of over processing this was the result. Early attempts at photography. Its an unusual result

January attempt at the Christmas tree. Stack of about 30 + images. (TeleVue 127mm refractor, Canon 6d modded). Over processed, but more interesting for me was that the Christmas Tree nebula/ Cone and the Hubble variable were in the same FOV – never appreciated that before. (Hubble inset a previous attempt with the 14” SCT)
I see a lot of heavily post processed images on the web. Thought I'd give this reasonably unremarkable image the treatment and see what people think. A less processed version is here:

slowly growing tired of over processing photos.. HDR has become the bane of my existence, all of the sudden.
I love it when used justly for a certain scene or project (but really... no one wants to see your cat tonemapped.. really)
So here is this photo, slight color and contrast adjustments to capture what i really "saw" on the scene .. without using five hundred exposures
facebook fan page (even if your only a "sort of" fan.. all the same to me:)
Corey loved this little tiny door, he tried a few times to open it....taken in Castle Coch yesterday.
a bit over processed, the light was a bit harsh from the flash
An older shot of a flight of sea gulls heading back to the coast at sunset. And way over processed by me but hell, I like it. We've had a fair chunk of rain over the last few days but it's merely dented the worst drought on record I believe. But anything is welcome. We just didn't need half a year's rainfall in the space of a couple of days.

Another from my ride on Saturday, a little over processed maybe but it gives me practice in Photomatix and Photoshop so I don't mind.
Heavily processed Library of Congress photochrom image of the inside of a temple in Bangkok, Thailand.
This is another over-processed piece of photo-art from a photo I took this morning. The dark foreground is the beginning of a hiking/biking path; just beyond that in the background is a children's garden called Linky Stone Park. The whimsical treatment of the photo seemed appropriate.
An atmospheric old Norfolk barn on a foggy December day.
Heavily (over)processed from the RAW format playing with the HSL colour channels and ramping up contrast/detail settings to create a more dramatic and stark gritty/grainy effect.
No chance of replicating this photo now as this evocative rural landmark ("The Tin Barn") that we have known for decades, the haunt of beautiful Barn Owsl we used to regularly see quartering the fields, has now been converted into a modern luxury holiday let - Unfortunately apparently sans owls.
