Heavily over-processed image of a sunset seen from in front of our house in Kitahiroshima in August of 2018. I used so many red pixels in this picture that the camera can only make cyanotype images now...

An experiment in over processing

I call film, when your settings are off, over process it. Some of my worst shots or least interesting subject are over process.

over processed and over here

This is my cousin sarah who asked me to shoot some senior pictures for her.

I have never done it before so this is my first attempt with the help of my photo friend Vicky Bennett.

In post processing I did a bit of touching up. They may look a little over processed but this is my first crack at this.

ENJOY!

How far can you take over processing

Found a couple of little falls on my travels today, on Tarras Water between Langholm and Newcastleton, this one's maybe a tad over processed, but I kinda like it like this....

over processed HDR. i still like it :)

Combination of three versions of a MODIS Aqua image (250m/pixel) converted into a new "color" image but not before having a text added to the "blue" channel, making for a very strange image.

Columbia Greenway rail trail construction at Little River (Tin Bridge)- Westfield, MA. All pictures taken behind fence.

Processed (and over processed) picture of the bottle of mugi-cha (roasted barley tea) I had for dinner.

Over processed skate park picture. But I like it this way.

I feel like I over-processed; it's a bit dark. Maybe I'll fix it one of these days.

Playing with the new EF 50mm 1.4. Canon 7D, EF 50mm f/1.4 @ 4.0, ISO 100. Processed in Lightroom, Topaz Adjust and Topaz DeNoise.

modified soap bubbles

I know that this one is over-processed, but I like the family portrait quality.

This image looks super over processed, but I barely did anything to it. In fact, I actually desaturated it. Looks better bigger on a dark background.

Gratuitous over-processing of Saturn's clouds, colorized from Cassini images.

I think I might have over-processed this a bit... ;) I found myself lost in awesome Against Me! and some old The Hooters processing this haha. The pic was quite boring so I wanted to do some damage to it before dinner.

Well. The sun´s been shining ALL day but guess who´s been inside?... Hubby´s not feeling quite alright and the rest of us really didn´t have any desire going anywhere. Among other things we cut my sons hair but as always it´s a little tricky getting him to sit still after a while, hence the irregularity of his precious, precious fang (which actually is far more straight than it looks).

{LOVE is my chosen word for the group Shutter Sisters One Word Project.}

awesomely over-processed

250/365: Yes, it's over-processed, but I kinda liked the bleakness of the path towards the tree with no leaves, so it can be my photo for today!

Stoke Bardolph, November 2010

Processed (from moderate to over-processed) image taken from the Point Bonita Lighthouse. This version was run through a stained-glass filter. Waves on the ocean don't make a very good stained-glass window...

#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.

Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

HDR of 3 images processed with Photomatix. A little over the top and has some typical HDR over processed characteristics, but I like it anyway. :)

with some over processing...

I've been busy in the past few weeks, and didn't have time to either post or comment on Flickr... One more post for 2011, a bit over-processed but expressing the feeling I had when shooting this.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2012!!!

When in doubt and the weather's not ideal, over-process :)

Another over processed HDR portrait using my iPhone 4S with a fish eye lens attached then processed thro several iPhone apps... The finished piece and effect are deliberate.

a little over processed but what the heck!

Wow, does this look over-processed! Sunset on shiny aluminum. Easy to get carried away in PP. I thought the turnbuckles were interesting, though.

tribal dove tat on my left foot...obviously under running water

(it isn't that thick, that's a product of the over processing ;) )

i went out to shoot the cows and apparently they weren't in the mood for paparazzi me - so i turned my attention to these guys. needless to say i stepped in some deep mud and was walking around with mud cake shoes all day, very attractive.

Over processed to make it look much better weather than it actually was... I'm still drying out...

Taken on Solent Camera Club and Friends photo walk at Portchester Castle, 18 June 2010

Yum, Lovely Liquorice allsorts. Slightly odd over-processed look.
