#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.
Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?
My main Flickr stream, that has less pictures of men in lycra, is here: www.flickr.com/photos/placid_casual/
Yes, I know I am addicted to over-processing. It is just for the time being until I can figure out how to get my camera to take nice pics all on its own. Then I'll calm down for sure - one can only hope!
A deliberately over processed HDR image of the river Wye in Bakewell. 5 bracketed images, tone mapped in Affinity Photo and using the "dramatic" preset. It was a very dull and wet day and as I had some other similar but less heavily processed images, I wanted to play with one with plenty of punch
Playing around with some astro stuff again. A bit over processed here but, it's really late and this makes 2 late nights in a row doing this. I'm getting old. Canon 40D mounted on a C90 Astro Mount w/EQ Wedge. Canon 17-40 F/4 at 17mm.
Clearly over-processed but there is something in the exaggerated glow on the trees that intrigues me.
Would you consider this over-processed for a commercial portrait? Looking for input, thanks.
The quality got screwed a bit by flickr, and check out how shitty and weird the bokeh on his hand is.
Close-up pictures I took of some very small wildflowers a while ago. Run through a color contrast-type effect.
Processed (and over processed) picture of the bottle of mugi-cha (roasted barley tea) I had for dinner.

Deliberately over processed HDR which is becoming really unfashionable, but frankly my dear, I really don't give a ****!!

A touch over-processed, and I am not sure I like it... but... Hmmm.... it annoys me enough to interest me.

Why does my upper lip keep disappearing in photos? ;(

Another sunset from a couple of days ago. This is an HDR from 3 images, and is over processed for my liking, but hey, got to try it!
Heavily edited and processed New Horizons false color image of Pluto, released on 14 July 2015, in anticipation of the large number (if slowly arriving) of images to come over the next eighteen months.
Panorama of Curiosity images showing one of her wheels and the wheel's tread in the sand/dust. For fun I over-processed this image. If you zoom into details, you can see interesting processing artifacts.

Just trying out the beta version. Maybe a bit over processed, but I am impressed with the new version. Have a great weekend!!
