Otherwise known as “Campiello,” this area is the fascinating maze of narrow streets, alleyways and steps that are squeezed between the Old Fort. In centuries gone by this area was surrounded by city walls, long since torn down.

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS ALONE!
❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️
1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so they might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH! Because JESUS LOVES YOU! ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus died that death for YOU and I. The good news is there no more punishment for sin left, we were and are all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Yesterday I visited the Franklin Minerals Railroad for the first time in 5 years. The railroad has for the last 2 years been using a nasty patched UP GP38-2 which killed my interest, more recently they picked up a GP35 rebuild which while painted was far less desirable than the roads GE's. Just in the last months though the UP leaser was returned and the painted EMD has mysteriously disappeared, presumably its getting some major work done in the shop. Wanting to take advantage of the absence of the EMD's I headed up there yesterday. At first I thought I was getting burned when I arrived at 830 to find no activity and all the units split up with the low hood GE sitting outside the shop. However all turned out alright and the unusually late run led to some new angles otherwise not possible. Here the train crosses "Mammys Creek" at Daysville, TN, a new angle for me and a easy TSOD choice.

As well as reprocessing from scratch using the latest tool versions, I also used Photoshop's new 'sky replacement' feature to add a little texture into an otherwise featureless background.
We seem to have had endless rain for weeks now and yesterday I had a real disaster as my PC died!!! Thankfully my photos were backed up recently otherwise I would have lost everything. I needed something to brighten up a really dull rainy day and take my mind off having to fork out for a new computer. Thankfully my OH has managed to get my laptop working with a good monitor. I may be a while catching up with everyone as my laptop is much slower! This shot was taken at Holywell Bay in Cornwall in April - a gorgeous sunset!

*Gerats waterfall after heavy rain*
A rainy day in the Allgäu seemed like a good opportunity to see the otherwise much-visited Gerats waterfall. Apparently it had rained heavily before because the water was a muddy color. Access to the bottom for a better shooting position was very slippery and wind caused a brownish spray (not good for the camera and lens), so I only shot from above.
Ein regnerischer Tag im Allgäu schien uns günstig, um den sonst viel besuchten Geratser Wasserfall anzusehen. Offenbar hatte es vorher stark geregnet, weil das Wasser eine schlammige Farbe aufwies. Der Zugang nach unten für eine günstigere Aufnahmeposition war sehr rutschig und Wind verursachte eine bräunliche Gischt (nicht gut für Kamera und Objektiv), so dass ich nur von oben fotografierte.

Garry beach, otherwise known as North Tolsta, situated on the north east of Lewis.
A fantastic beach where the changing of the tide literally transfers the area.
My daughter, looking out over the rainy landscape from the walls of the ruins of Castell Dinefwr (Dinefwr Castle), near Llandeilo, Wales. I like the splash of bright blue she brought to an otherwise dreary scene.
I was so delighted that someone pointed out this bird to me otherwise I would of walked right past it. Algonquin Park.
Scottish Highlands but otherwise I didn't make a note of the exact location, possibly Loch Fyne.
If anyone does recognise the location I would love to know.
Shot on the 5d Mk3. Whilst a fairly cold and bleak scene, colour definitely the way to go I think on this one.
Of course you must have one with a creek, river or stream. Otherwise it just isn't a complete fall color series.

Piercing calls and distinctive wing markings make the otherwise subdued Willet one of our most conspicuous large shorebirds. Whether in mottled brown breeding plumage or gray winter colors, Willets in flight reveal a bold white and black stripe running the length of each wing. These long-legged, straight-billed shorebirds feed along beaches, mudflats, and rocky shores.
This small kingfisher with a truly hefty bill barely makes it into South Texas; otherwise, it ranges throughout Central and South America.
