Numbers for the November scavanger hunt. Figured there were two sets! Too bad they don't get counted double!
A broken feeder perch (pictured above) is not a broken bone or a scar, to be sure, though the bird feeder might argue if it could. But it brings to mind a poem (just a wee stretch on my part) by a young lady named Claire Lee. At the age of 16, she won a gold medal in the 2012 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and was declared National Student Poet. Her poem "Living in Numbers" shows statistics in the same categories on two different, but consecutive, days. Reading it will show you how addition and subtraction can make a telling result.

Stickers are from various classic car events in Italy. Quite why it is sitting in a hotel car park is Leicestershire is anyone's guess!
History of irrational numbers Numbers appear like dancing letters to many students as they are not able to distinguish between different categories of numbers and get confused in understanding their concepts. Number family has numerous of siblings and one of them is irrational and Rational Numbers. You can define rational number as a nameable number, as we can name it in the whole numbers, fractions and mixed numbers. On the other side irrational number is one that can’t be expressed in simple fraction form. With the help of real life examples you can easily distinguish between different types of numbers.

and the next arrival was 7,869 days
We have 2 teens, the first is 6,898 days old

110 days since Ipswich Town last lost a competative match.
11 days, the total sickness leave i've had in my current work place.
2 days before I next have time off.
And that leads us to the future...
A place of refuge, a city fair,
Where one could flee, from anywhere,
A sanctuary for the accused,
A shelter offered, a life excused.
God's law provided, in Numbers clear,
Cities of refuge, for all to hear,
For those who caused unintentional harm,
A place of safety, a shelter warm.
Six cities chosen, spread afar,
To offer solace, from avenging spar,
Where justice met compassion's grace,
A haven found, in a foreign place.
In Numbers Thirty-Five, a merciful tale,
Of cities set apart, where one could prevail,
A reminder of God's compassion wide,
For those in need, with arms open wide.
So let us remember, in times of strife,
The call to mercy, in this mortal life,
To offer refuge, a shelter true,
In God's abiding love, ever anew.
Me shooting pool or biljards or what you call it in your part of the world. Multicoloured balls with numbers and a stick. The fact that I didn't sink this simple shot gives me away as an avid player at the table.
Hong Kong Government Department | All Departments
All Cars and Misc. Hong Kong Government Vehicles
All Hong Kong Government operated vehicles have a licence plate that starts AM (there are a few exceptions, see below) and have a number sequence comprising 1 to 4 numbers. A high end car generally denotes it is the chauffeur driven vehicle of a high ranking Hong Kong Government Minister and a few really Senior Ministers have cars with 2 letter number plates ( CS, FS, CJ and SJ) | Status is important even in the Government as is the use of lucky numbers (1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 0 etc) on licence plates.
The Chief Executive of Hong Kong has the Hong Kong Emblem ( large badge ) on the front and back of the vehicle but remarkably (for me anyway) the best Government licence plate is the number I on the official car of the Commissioner of Police, top that as they say!
The exceptions : - the Emergency Service Vehicles ( Fire Trucks and Ambulances ) use F with digits and A with digits
☛ The Hong Kong Government has many departments that use vehicles, see the Hong Kong Government Department list below my research indicates that the Government currently has in excess of 6,500 ✚ licenced vehicles on the road.

The most common Government Misc. Vehicles ( excluding cars ) ie Trucks, Vans and Buses you see on the streets are used by such departments as Hongkong Post, Customs and Excise Department, Water Services Department, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Government Logistics Department and such.
It is also common to see private contractor vehicles working for Government Departments
All purchasing of Government Vehicles is a tender process and as vehicles can last a good few years and as new vehicles are purchased on a regular basis, it is a real mish mash of brands, I do get the impression that low price is not the deciding factor, I imagine equipment and after sales service are major factors and quality European and Japanese brands are very common.

Some scrapbook paper I just bought. I love all of the numbers on it. I was thinking about using it on a layout about my career, Accounting. Fitting, no?
I thought this was odd. This is the 2700 block of W. Jarlath near Rogers Park. I thought they might be lot numbers. They could be a date, but there is a 1924 stamp nearby (see next photo in stream).

Slide numbers 43 through 62 show the third eruptive pulse. This sequence was taken while moving clockwise from the west to the north side of the mountain at a distance of 7 to 10 miles and at an elevation of 17,000 feet.
Note: Slide numbers 43 - 50 were taken at 19:01 and show the pyroclastic flow as it advances northward. Skamania County, Washington. July 22, 1980. Slide number 51 was taken at 19:02. Slide numbers 52 - 55 were taken at 19:03. Slide numbers 56 - 57 were taken at 19:04. Slide numbers 58 and 59 were taken at 19:04 and 19:05. Slide numbers 60 - 62 are views of the eruption and were taken at 19:06.

The following slides (1-114) of the July 22, 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens were taken by Jim Vallance, who was in a U.S. Forest Service fixed wing aircraft and by Mike Doukas, Harry Glicken and Rick Hoblitt, who were in a U.S. Geological Survey helicopter. There were three major eruptive pulses on July 22, 1980. They began at 17:14, 18:30 and 19:02 PDT.
