History of irrational numbers Numbers appear like dancing letters to many students as they are not able to distinguish between different categories of numbers and get confused in understanding their concepts. Number family has numerous of siblings and one of them is irrational and Rational Numbers. You can define rational number as a nameable number, as we can name it in the whole numbers, fractions and mixed numbers. On the other side irrational number is one that can’t be expressed in simple fraction form. With the help of real life examples you can easily distinguish between different types of numbers.

4 month old hand reared lion cubs, here after only 8 weeks in this enclosure for the 6 of them in the lion park after spending the first 2 and half months of their lives in the house of the the park owner being hand reared.....for diff. reasons, maybe mum ran out of milk, or that mum rejected them as was a first time mum, there is a pair of twins in here too, and only more recently have they been able to tell them apart.
They are in a group huddle here just as they would be in the wild, because they are scared, because a gardener , who we could not see had started operating a strimmer or similar and was making a noise they were unfamiliar with. They took some coaxing out, one had just left the group tentatively, .....that's one of the reasons they are now in the enclosure in the park, to get them used to all the other sounds and smells.

Me shooting pool or biljards or what you call it in your part of the world. Multicoloured balls with numbers and a stick. The fact that I didn't sink this simple shot gives me away as an avid player at the table.
Some scrapbook paper I just bought. I love all of the numbers on it. I was thinking about using it on a layout about my career, Accounting. Fitting, no?

Celebrating 22 Years!
A traditional, English Country Fair for all the family.
Has now been held every June for 22 years. It began as a fundraising show for our local Blackbourne Churches and St Nicholas' Hospice Care with the kind permission of our President The Duke of Grafton, who allowed the event to be held in the magnificent setting of Euston Park.
Together with John Farrow (the farm manager at that time) and Tim Fogden we set up a volunteer committee, which has continued to run this successful one day Show. We have raised over £400,000 for our causes over the years.
The programme has been broadly similar each year, but with increasing entries the demand for space has required more parking and display areas. A new entrance between the stationary engines and stalls, leads past the traction engines to the new Grafton Ring specifically for tractors.
The main Norfolk Ring has a constant programme of events, displays, demonstrations and parades. It is surrounded by band music, a busy tea tent and further stalls. Leading past the Craft Tent, the Suffolk Ring is home to a large display of Heavy Horses. Nearby is the start of the hugely popular Farm Rides. It has also been associated with a magnificent display of flowers in Euston Church.
There are several catering outlets, but the most popular are the excellent lunches served in the Hall kitchen.
Keeping very much to the same format we hope to continue to attract the numbers, which filled the car park completely last year.

This part of our urban landscape fascinates me because it’s an underdocumented aspect of environmental “typography”. They aren’t printer’s fonts, but prefabricated letters used by architects & builders. Each product was made only within a specific era, giving a locale a sense of history, just as architecture can.

This large gull is a regular winter visitor on all islands, but not in any high numbers. The total winter population is around 50-100 birds, with the largest aggregations rarely more than ten birds.
First and second winter birds dominate, but also older and full adult birds occur. Most birds are seen together with groups of other large gulls, where larger harbours like in Ponta Delgada and Praia da Vitória are favourable places.
The first autumn birds arrive in September, most are coming later up to mid winter especially with cold northerly winds, and they seem to depart in early spring. A few birds have been reported even spending the summer in the Azores.
