I hand cut these numbers in a font that matched our other stationery. They are lit from within by little tea lights.
A census taken, a count anew,
Generations numbered, a faithful view.
The Promised Land, they soon would claim,
God's covenant, their rightful aim.
The tribes of Israel, a chosen race,
Counted and named, in God's embrace.
From old to young, they all were seen,
A new generation, a future keen.
God's faithfulness, from age to age,
His promises sure, an eternal gauge.
Numbers Chapter 26, a record kept,
Generations counted, as God's plan crept.
In God's hands, our lives are held,
Each one counted, His love upheld.
For in His grace, we find our place,
A part of His story, by His grace
This is in an old fishing auction warehouse. Each attendant was assigned a number and when they bid on a catch, their number would light up. The outer wheel displayed the weight of the catch.

[Better Bigger!]
Made for the HMPC swap on swapbot. Theme: "numbers." Another mental block. I guess maybe I'm not a numbers person? What I had envisioned just Did Not want to come out onto paper. Does that ever happen to you? The background is done with oil pastels. Using a stamper, I inked the numbers onto the background and painted the larger blue and purple numbers on top. The larger numbers are significant to me - - they are birthdates of my family. The edges are painted blue and purple.

This is a really old pic I took just under 2 years ago. I had the composition nailed down back then, but as you can see I still had plenty to work on in the technical department
