Streetwise repaired my MacBook but didn’t transfer over my serial number sticker. When I called them on it, they told me the tech responsible didn’t work there anymore. Then, the very next week, they did the same thing to Andrew Krespanis’s MacBook Pro. Read my blog post for details.
Another upload of some of the photos I've been taking over the past couple of months.
Things have settled down a little now. My father's house is on the market and we're looking at moving him to a more appropriate home for his needs. Meanwhile I'm starting to get organised for university in October. The trouble now is that I have a mountain of photos to edit and upload. Luckily I don't have much time to take any at the moment!

I feel like I've been hit in the face with a shovel. A very good, mindblowing, entertaining shovel, but still a shovel.
After decompressing a bit - go see it. They pack a bit too much in, it's a bit too long, and not everything works, but i'd be jiggered if you don't come away from it without something to chew on.
Also: why are theatre audience so old/middle class? More so than the RFH.
And: why do they see ignorance of maths as a funny thing? The In Our Time conundrum kicks in.

Numbered ell stones (Swedish: Alnstenar) are erected along Göta Kanal with a distance of a thousand ells (Swedish: alnar) between each of them (a Swedish ell is about 59.4 cm). In the 19th century the stones were used to measure how far the ships were pulled by oxes which decided the toll fee to the ship-pulling men.
