Something we WILL NOT get back home in Malaysia. With the rojak language we use, I am sure we Malaysians can come up with other creative plates. Hehe

He's more than a number to me. I call him Bill.

The large version reveals Bill's bloodshot eyes.

When looking for things to do in Tokyo, the Tsukiji Fish Market tuna auction came up. Some research revealed that it had become too popular, and it is now limited to two groups of 60 starting at roughly 5:30am, with the suggestion you get there earlier to make sure you get a spot.

We decided to go on our first full day in Japan since we were still on Pacific (or, really, Eastern) time--5am in Tokyo was roughly noon the day before in San Francisco and 3pm the day before in DC. (We used a similar strategy for seeing sunrise on Haleakala on Maui. :))

The only problem was the subway doesn't start running until 5am and we wanted to be there by 5, so we needed to take a taxi. And eat breakfast. (For that, we stopped in a Lawson and grabbed a couple of cold hamburgers, and then rudely ate them in public.)

The scene in the auction is kind of funny--all of the tourists are penned into a narrow walkway with people inspecting fish on either side. The tourists are busily snapping away while the men (and it did seem to be all men) inspect the fish and get ready for the auction. I couldn't imagine having a job with tourists coming by every day to take pictures...

Overall the auction was neat, but just being in the Tsukiji Fish Market that early with all of the crazy carts driving around, and getting a really good sushi breakfast was worth the trip.

I spent majority of the day taking pictures of this cat in my backyard. Sean calls her Number 2. I love the dof in this shot. Sooc.

Is -1.5 a Rational Number Every time when we have to check if any given number is a rational number or not then the condition of rational number existence should be satisfied for that particular given number. We will test the same for the given number -1.5 .When we have to check that any particular given number is a rational number or not, we must first recall what all are rational numbers. Rational numbers are the numbers which can be expressed in form of m / n where m and n are integers and n 0 (' ' means not equal to). Here initially, when we look at the number -1.5, we observe that -1.5 is not an integer so it cannot be expressed in form of a rational number.

Seen in a back street in the old town in Caceres. I found the colours in both the laundry and the pegs pleasing, particularly against the highly textured background.
