Mariah Carey - I Don't ft. YG
Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1969 or 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. In 1990, she rose to fame with the release of "Vision of Love" from her eponymous debut album. The album produced four chart-topping singles in the US and began what would become a string of commercially successful albums which solidified the singer as Columbia's highest selling act. Carey and Boyz II Men spent a record sixteen weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995–96 with "One Sweet Day," which remains the longest-running number-one song in US chart history. Following a contentious divorce from Sony Music head Tommy Mottola, Carey adopted a new image and traversed towards hip hop with the release of Butterfly (1997). In 1998, she was honored as the world's best-selling recording artist of the 1990s at the World Music Awards and subsequently named the best-selling female artist of the millennium in 2000.

The 44th Eirgrid Dunboyne 4 Mile Road Race and Fun Run took place in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday, March 24th 2013 at 15:00. The race, now one of the oldest and prestigious in Ireland, attracted a record number of participants. The main race was preceeded by a series of children and junior races. Depsite the bitterly cold March weather the atmosphere for the race was electric. The 4 mile route which makes its way into the center of the village twice before returning there for the finish allows spectators to cheer on the runners three times. Overall this is a brilliantly organised race with every detail taken care of to the highest standard. This is to the credit of all of the volunteers from Dunboyne AC, Meath Athletics, and the local community of Dunboyne and surrounding areas. It is a race by which others can measure themselves.

I ran the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set!
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information below.
If you want to contribute something for these images?
We do not charge for these images. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that they are good enough that you would ordinarily pay for their purchase we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible.

Southern Pacific number 314 a 4-6-0 was built in 1892 by Cooke Locomotive Works in Patterson, New Jersey. This locomotive's number was changed from 114 to 314 after the Houston & Texas Central (H&TC) was merged with the the Southern Pacific (SP) in 1901. The SP used this locomotive for mainly passenger work I believe between Texas and Louisiana. In 1940 the locomotive was sold to the Vermilion Sugar Company and was used as a switch engine till it fell into a state of disrepair. And was then sold to a junkyard, it was discovered and saved and went to Steamtown in 1965 and was restored. The Galveston Railroad Museum then bought it from Steamtown in 1981 and has been here ever since.
Info on this locomotive was found here: www.jeffstrainsite.com/railfan_pics/railroad_museums/galv...

Striving to be number one is often a good thing, but sometimes it's not so great. Harry Potter has to decide which is which. In this particular case, he appears to be one in a set of five.

My stranger number 40 was working in the bookshop "Keel Row Bookshop" today. After purchasing a copy of "Robert Doisneau Photographs" I finally plucked up the courage to ask her to be in my project. This is the first photo taken with my 450D in ages as my 5DMKII is off for repair :-(

Sundays at Carnevale are chaotic. There are a number of official events in the Piazza di San Marco so it's cordoned off until early afternoon. To enter you have to go through airport style security and many of the popular areas were blocked. Next year, remind me to go to other parts of Venice while this is going on.
Many models take part in a big parade. They meet near the gondola area on the waterfront and then march into the main part of the Piazza. It's interesting to watch but very hard to get good photographs without having a bunch of people in the photos, or shooting in bright sunshine - neither of my favorite things to do.
The barricades come down in early afternoon so it's easier to walk around but the area is absolutely packed. Despite all this grumbling I still had a chance to shoot with a number of models. Life is good!
I took these photos in February 2019.
Hey everyone! Wow, it's hard to imagine I've amassed 7,000 shots on my stream in a little over 2 1/2 years...looking back from this milestone, I've seen so many wonderful things, all God~granted...and it just wouldn't have been the same if I couldn't have shared it all with YOU! You're primary with me, you know...just as my stream is dedicated to the Good Lord, the captures contained within are all dedicated to you all! I know I've had a few hits along with plenty of misses along the 7K way but at the onset of every hike I can squeeze into the day or two of a weekend, I always wonder what I might be able to bring to you, just as you bring so many gorgeous moments into my line of sight on your streams! Thank you 7,000 times over, for your visits, comments and faves...it continues to be a fun ride!
