I really like that surprised face expression. 😁 This is probably my favorite of the goose captures that I took so far.

The photography of a Eurasian red squirrel with a nut that I took.

I ran across this big Spiny Softshell Turtle while walking a local nature trail. This guy was pretty huge at about a foot and a half long! He looked more like a sea tortoise, except for that snout...

a bloom to expose its luminescent, electric blue heart.

Messing about rotating lights and waving coloured lights around in the moonlit night. Fueled by Northern Monk and cheap rum. Thanks to Phill for being able to stand-up let alone stand still!

Many thanks for your likes, comments and of course for starting to follow me. I really appreciate you!

The group of friends that was showing me around the Laurel Valley Plantation grounds was calling for me to come on to the next location, but I couldn't tear myself away from this old Dodge truck. So many ways to see it!

By cooler temps, I mean 60's in the morning and 80's for a high, but every little bit counts!

Of course, we're back to highs in the mid 90's this week... :(

Straight out of camera. No edits.

Since it's raining here again this morning, I figured this was an appropriate post for today. Taken one morning when the rains were moving in to Lake Bruin.

More from our day on Lake Verret, Louisiana... :)

A Calabrian black squirrel standing on its hind legs.

With all the fancy computerized Christmas lights that you see nowadays, it's light displays like this that fill me with Christmas wonder and joy... :)

Excuse the non-sharpness...taken from my truck window in drizzling rain.

an imposing, heavy blanket of storm clouds.

The Hummers like to take little breaks from the feeding frenzy at the feeders on nearby branches.

Dry and hot. Too dry and too damned hot. That's all I have to say about that.

The rain stopped long enough for a yardwalk, and naturally Lucy joined in the fun.

Just had to share this one of her prowling inside the Azaleas even if it is a little out of focus. It's really hard to manually focus on a moving kitty amongst all those leaves and limbs!!!

A capture of a Eurasian coot that I took at a pond in a local park.

A merry Christmas, that is...

A little early, but what the hey... ^+^

...let's get this place cleaned up!
