Looking across the river at Arles.

Abandoned Church/Abbey, cemetery, Doolin, Ireland. Was told this was the old church parish for Doolin.

...or, 'Spying on my Neighbors' !!!!!

Before the latest round of freezes, of course.

One of my favorite and most versatile lens is my Sigma 30mm. Great for landscapes, general photography, and very close up.

I especially love the bokeh it produces. When I'm not using my long lens, this is usually what's on the camera.

The gutted bottom floor of this building in downtown Baton Rouge has been stagnating for years now. They put up fencing in the door and window openings...I guess to keep out the homeless...and photographers.

...Weideland jenseits der bayerischen Grenze ...

A quick shot in fading light from underneath one of the many bridges of Paris. I liked how this ended up as an abstract focused on the curves of the structure and the effects of motion.

If they were really spying on me through my tv set, this is what they would see. OK, so I'm in a strange mood...I'm still recovering from high fever...{=P

Burg zu Burghausen bei Nacht

I'm getting in the mood for Halloween... ;)

Fort Liberte', Haiti

I woke up early and stepped outside and saw this. The photo really doesn't convey just how big this Lunar Halo was...definitely the largest that I've ever seen. I first tried to shoot it with the 30mm, but had to get out the 14mm to get it all in frame!

btw...I hate my neighbor's damned street light...it so pollutes my night sky.

... take a sad song and make it better.

Still dealing with my eyes. Everything is going fine, but now they want to do the other eye, too, which means another 6 weeks of eye-drops and no glasses. I'm able to get out and shoot, it's just not as much fun.

I'll try to get around to some visiting this weekend... :)

Photographed January, 2025.

Ginger can be spotted lower right. Suches, GA

I just like the colors in this one... :)

I love it when I find a King Snake or Black Racer in the yard because they like to kill other poisonous snakes. Plus, they are really pretty... :)

This one was about 3' long.

A couple more shots with a less than cheery theme... :)

Our kitties all take turns hanging out in this special spot on top of the cabinets in the kitchen. On this day, it was Milo's turn.

Happy Furry Friday!... :)

When Lady Lane strolls down the road, both fella and steed take notice.

Still busy prepping for the garage sale this weekend, but, when the lillies are blooming, you just have to do what you have to do... :)

This is certainly not art photography - but a curious story I simply wanted to share.

We woke on Valentine's Day, looked out our front window, and saw two entwined hearts at the bottom of the driveway. Our first thought was some sweet neighbor had come along and scraped out the design....but it seemed too perfectly proportioned for that. Glancing out a little later, we watched the car across the road use our driveway as a turn-around, and it followed exactly the previous design of the valentines. I don't think this could ever have been done on purpose, so must have had an assist from the Cosmos. Hopefully a smile for your day.

That's a bit of fresh Mulberries in his mouth...:)

Two types of bracket mushrooms found along the hiking trails.

I didn't realize the camera was set to f/2 when I clicked this shot...wish it had been on f/4. I still like the scene, though.

Hope you've enjoyed the holiday!

Le Jardin de la Tour Eiffel, seen from the second level of the tower.

Unmanicured and growing however it wants. I find trees fascinating.
