Should be an easy resolution...Read at least 15 minutes a day. I figure that would allow me to fit in at least a book a month. As any avid reader will testify to, 15 minutes can easily turn into an hour or more though...already finished my first book, Dean Koontz "Your Heart Belongs to Me".
EnJOYing all those chocolate covered bananas and strawberries and the shop full of frosted cupcakes ... where will it all end? I know because I was there today ... the denist's office.
Outcome? An early New Year's resolution: FLOSS EVERY DAY!

I got back to swimming today (along with lots of others..the pool was packed!). It was great to get back to swimming, let's see how long this exercise regime lasts!
This morning, my husband asked me what my New Year's Resolution was. I replied that I didn't have one, that I never follow through on them anyways and it's so cliche' that I didn't even try to think of one. However, that being said, I do intend to get back on track with healthier eating this next year. Funny thing is, when I dressed to do this photo, my husband asked "going for a jog?" to which I replied "nope, just doing a photo. I just ate 2 chocolate chip cookies!!!" After I shot this, I ate the carrots just to make myself feel better. :)
Happy New Year's and may you follow through on all your resolutions.
Inspired by Kitty's 'October Goals' journalling, I've recorded my New Year's resolutions. I hope I'll be able to achieve these in 2011 and beyond :)

What's your new years resolutions? Or what do you think about them?
Honestly I've never been really a friend of new years resolutions. 1. Why to wait till the new years has started - it's better to start asap. 2. It was always hard for me to keep to them ;-). I guess that was the major reason *lol*.
But this year I found out that I actually have a new years resolution - surprise surprise! It wasn't planned to be that as it started already 2 month ago. I've planned to take more care about the birthdays of people. Something I never managed to do well. I simply can't remember dates. I tried a lot of systems - nothing worked so far. The most helping one was, when my mobile reminded me of birthdays - till I lost it. And with it all the dates. So even this system was a failure.
2 month ago I started to look for the perfect calendar. Something to hang on a wall beside my sofa. I couldn't find a calendar I liked. Actually I really would have loved a beautiful calendar with Scottish landscapes. But try to find something here. And i'm unfortunately picky. So ordering something which I haven't seen before was no option for me. It has to be a something nice to look at. As that's what I want to do - look at this calendar to not forget a birthday this year.
So after christmas I decided to create my own calendar. Eyecatching it had to be. As I don't have enough beautiful pics of Scotland, i decided to make a calender with the actor Richard Armitage on.
It took me 3 nights. 1st because I tried to find some templates where I could put in the pictures I had. I didn't find one which I could use or liked. So I decided to create one myself. Easier said than done when you have no idea how to work with photoshop. *lol*.
After 3 long nights my calendar was ready - actually I've now 2 different versions - and they are already in print now. Till I get the printed and bound version, i've printed the first sheet which is now up on my wall.
Yes it's eyecatching enough - but will it help me to remember the birthdays of my friends and family??? Only time will show...
