The troopers were feeling a little depressed on Blue Monday so they decided to check their New Years resolutions of loosing a few inches around their waistlines. So far they look to be unsuccessful!

This is an alternative version for one of my daily shots of 365 Days of Clones.

I always admire people who go out running

One of my New Year's resolutions is to focus on a particular field of photography on which I have barely concentrated before: (macro) flower photography. The other New Year's resolution is to make more shots in The Netherlands, most of my inspiration thus far has been whilst travelling. Let's see how strong these commitments are during the year....

Note: does anyone know the name of this particular flower? I'm not so good in determination yet. Probably a crocus?

As 2012 looms above – tomorrow (actually in a few hours!) – I’m already thinking of what my New Year’s fashion resolutions are going to be. Come on, those are important too…

One. Wear as much maroon as possible – I’m talking even lipstick in shades of dark red and maroon, perhaps nail polish – though that chips too easily with as much typing as I do freelancing…

In and around Hamworthy on a sunny day with my new lens. All the photos are straight out of the camera, just to see how it performs. I'm really pleased with it and am getting used to the focusing. Hamworthy Poole 29.12.2013

New Year's Resolution - post backlog of photos while camera's on the fritz.

to much

Here are the NEW KNOBS. I chose these are they somewhat replicate a detail on the bottom portion of the wardrobe.

Part of my New Year's Resolutions....to finish all the home projects on my list this year and to recommit myself to photography. I seem to have lost inspiration the latter 1/3 of last year.

17 bars down, and 1 to go! I'm not sure whether or not I should be proud of myself for going to 17 new bars in just over 4months, especially since my resolution was to go 18 new bars this year, but I think I'm just going to go with it. Actually, I've been to more than 17 new bars, but I decided not to count music venues or bars where I haven't had a drink.

200 Orchard is the new home of Thinkchronicity Music Trivia, which is great since I really like this place. It's comfortable and has tons of seating and I love the light fixtures and the use of wood. Thanks for having us, 200 Orchard!

Hello 2011!

This year I have made TWO new year resolutions.

NUMBER 1: To be more open to seafood. Yes this may seem silly to some but I usually stay away from most kinds of seafood and feel it’s time to give it a chance. I plan to eat as many kinds of seafood within 2011, starting with crab legs next week!

NUMBER 2: To read and educate myself more on photography. I hope to spend at least 3 hours a week online, at the bookstore or at the library reading up on anything having to do with photography.

From my weekly TGIF blog post: victoriaannephotography.wordpress.com/2010/12/31/tgif-12-...

"Save the excuses. It's not about having time. It's about making time."

My new year's resolution is 1680x1050, and when I upgrade my ancient video card I'll use that second monitor on the same desktop.

Every year lots of people believe that the turn of the year is a good starting point to improve their life. Frequently heard 'New Year's Resolutions' are to lose weight, drink less alcohol, get a better job and of course quit smoking. Especially that last one is hard to persevere. Now we are nine days into the new year I think a lot of people already have failed (again) to quit smoking.

Note that I don't smoke myself and never did. I find it a disguisting habit. Everyone that is trying to quit, good luck! Life is so much better without smoking!
