Barnacle-encrusted remains rise from the tidal flats of Whidbey Island, standing like quiet markers of time and tide.
The rocky shoreline leads into the open horizon, a layered composition of texture, erosion, and stillness.
Captured on medium format film with the Pentacon Six TL and Biometar 80mm lens, the red filter brings subtle drama to the sky and strong definition to the tidal textures.

Went to test out this new to me Nettar 515/2 6x9 and after developing have these weird marks in the sky. No clue if camera lens fungus/haze or development issue. Could have been some weird clouds and I'm overthinking this too.

I've driven past this cemetery at Halcombe any number of times, and finally thought I should have a look at this angel memorial that's quite visible from the road.
