Lamego, Portugal, cathedral square, 1 September 2018. Many Portuguese people live and work abroad, but like to marry in their home towns. Therefore, when they are in Portugal for summer, they marry all at the same time, during the weekends. On this Saturday, we saw at least 20 marriages in the cathedral, one after the other. Every marriage had their own guests and their own cars and drones that were following the newlyweds and cars. It was quite busy on the square.

It is the tallest aqueduct in the world and is 336 yards long and 12 foot wide which includes a footpath alongside. It is World Heritage site and the structure is Grade 1 listed which gives it legal protection for alterations of demolition without prior consent from the Local Authority.
