There were many creatures I hoped to see in Namibia but didn't think that I would. I did not however even think about seeing a budgerigar. Nevertheless this budgericar was living wild in Walvis Bay and I saw it on consecutive days living beside common waxbills.
How it got there and how long it will survive is a different story.

Here is Scott trying to poke at it with a stick. His efforts were unsuccessful. This is why the aardvark and anteater have at least one giant-ass claw.
