The famous dune 45 and one of the most popular and one of the most climbed dunes in the Namib-Naukluft Park, Namibia.
It is located at km 45 from the entrance of the park, (its name isn't a fate!).
it is composed of 5 million year old sand that is detritus accumulated by the Orange River from the Kalahari Desert and then blown here.
