Not very often lately but every so often they get together. I usually use ID-11 for this film but I had to make a new batch then I usually leave it 12 hrs to cool down.

3/3

Seen passing 6002 in Coventry's Pool Meadow is 6012, BJ03ESN one of the newer batch of Mercedes Artic's this time a Citaro.

These images were taken at Skyland Resort in the Shenandoah National Park on March 27, 2015. When we got up the cloud still covered the mountain. Now the cloud had lifted but it was still overcast. The film was developed in Caffenol C-L and fixed as usual. I noticed that the negatives were kind of gray. A closer examination showed the unexposed part of the film was still gray meaning the fixer had not completed it’s work. I mixed a new batch of fixer and fixed the film and 2nd time.

This was taken a month or so ago. I hope to take a new batch soon. Hope you are all well x

It's hard to believe that only about two weeks ago we still had some winter with temperatures below -10c. Right now the temperatures are reaching the 20c in some parts of our country.

So let's cool down a bit with some colder images that I took during the cold days in Tynaarlo, Drenthe

Used one of the older cameras this time. The Canon Eos 1 was selected for a change and used some of the older lenses we still own (EF 20-35 F2.8 and the EF 28-70 F2.8)

The Canon Eos 1 is the first from a long range of professional Canon EOS 1 cameras. The Eos 1 was introduced in 1989 and this one and all the others EOS 1 cameras digital and analog are build like tanks. This one might have some marks and scars but still goes strong

Loaded the Eos 1 with some Fujifilm Superia 200 (Expiry date 12-2014)

Developing was done at home with our Cinestill Cs41 kit at 39c and 4 minutes

This was the seventh film with the new batch of developer mixed on September 9 2020

Curious if we can reach over 25 films again and 10 months with this new batch.

The previous developer batch was used to develop 28 films (135-36 format) over an period of 10 months without any problems.

The Cinestill CS41 does stay in good working condition if kept cool, dark and oxygen free.

The results are nice, but this roll caused some trouble with spooling it on the developing reel. It was way to curly so I ended up with some scratches and other marks on the emulsion.

So...it has been a week since we had orioles at our feeder. The orange was looking sad and the grape jelly was just sitting there. We had orioles at our feeder more than during any other year - so I guess I should have been happy with what we were able to see. Still, people say they have orioles all summer - so that did not seem to be in our cards. So on Saturday morning, I decided to clean out the oriole feeder and replace it with a different feeder. I took it down and cleaned it up. Then, after a week, guess who showed up. That is right - the Oriole was back. BUT there was no food. UGH! So I raced to get it back up and out it went...with a half an orange and more jelly. OK...any moment now...the oriole will be back. OK….and so….nothing. NOTHING. All that came to the oriole feeder were a few house finches. It dawned on me that we might have been catfished. Need a new batch of jelly? Well, maybe the house finch (fine birds in their own right) dressed up as an oriole - got me to get the feeder back out. So there it is...a few house finches have catfished me into getting the feeder cleaned up. Taken over the past few days, Saturday June 2nd and Sunday June 3rd, 2018 in Saline Michigan.

inaugurate verb: to put something into use

Turn up on election day in Australia and I'll bet London to a brick on you'll be offered a democracy sausage. There'll be equal odds that it will be cooked on a flat barbecue plate by someone from a local service club or school auxiliary, slapped diagonally on a piece of square, fluffy, characterless, sliced white bread, buried beneath undercooked onions if you're there early, or cremated ones if you're there late, and garnished with dead horse.

celebrate verb: to honour or praise

The sausage is a wondrous thing; a mystery bag of bits and pieces — whether it's upper class or as down-to-earth as a Scottish haggis. It is never celebrated more democratically than when it's laid down in the embrace of a bun, dressed here in a simplified form that you might encounter in København; a world away from the queue to vote.

This wiener is a pale simulacrum of the frankfurter it could be. Stuffed with ground bits rejected then selected for their inferiority, and wrapped in a dyed orange/brown skin, it'll have to do for this inauguration. Dressing this dog is the first, the inaugural task of a new batch of red kraut — fermented in the Danish-style with fennel seeds. The mustard is sweet, in the Swedish-style, and the onions are just a few metres from where they grew in this green land.

commemorate verb: to mark or celebrate

Here's to the not so humble hotdog! It commemorates its disparate parts, its humble origins in Germany, its adoption and adaptation around the World, symbol of getting together, getting along and the whole made better than the sum of its parts.

This one took its time. Ordered a dress, got a very meh bag. Still, all sorted now and the dress arrived yesterday. It has an elasticated back to it so you'd think it would be easy to put on but this baby is playing hard to get. Very challenging to do up the side zip. I hope that's not due to my extended time at home and too many biscuits. Anyway, a cute dress that probably needs a younger body to take it out, but I like it! Not my preferred colour, but I had to give this ruffled skirt a go. Lots more on their way from my trusty camera and tests from my new phone. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's really nice outside and there's a local hill with my name on it this afternoon. Off to tone those legs!

Metrobus

Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse

Seen on route 10 in Crawley.

One of the first new batches of buses my camera saw, both they and it are now 7 years old! I believe the buses are soon to be replaced by hydrogen models, likely displacing the Volvos to replace older single decks in the Metrobus fleet.

One of a new batch of Volvo B5LH/Wright for the new, relaunched 35, now to be known as the Skylink 300. This batch supplements some former Airlink buses which have also been given blue & white Skylink livery for use in service 200.

Apeldoorn, 18 July 2016.

Since May the new batch of NS TRAXX locomotives have been arriving and are being put into service on the HSL. On delivery they arrive at Bad Bentheim from the factory in Kassel on Saturday and are delivered to NS on the Monday. Here 186 026 and 186 027 are seen passing Apeldoorn on their way to Amsterdam Zaanstraat.

Leopold Place was where the great architect William Henry Playfair had his offices and much the building work in this area was designed by him and his contemporaries.

Former London Volvo B9TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, number 1150 (LXII CWO) is one of thirteen in a new batch of eight year old buses which retain their original plug dual doors and this photo shows how slightly smaller the design is compared to the rest of Lothian's Gemini fleet.

East London route 205: Paddington, Cleveland Terrace - Bow Church Station

Departed Mile End Station (D), towards Coborn Road (L)

Stagecoach London have purchased new buses for their renewed contract to route 277 from Bow (BW) starting this weekend. 12404 was the first example to enter service on route 205 and at least two duties are covered by buses from new batch 12403-12425 whilst they gradually join their allocated route.

When I woke up this morning the temperature was 26 degrees and the feeding solution was totally frozen. I made up a new batch and filled up another feeder and within minutes after installation, this winter resident appeared. He appears to regard my home as his winter resort.

The Witch Way has seen many new vehicles arrive into service the batch of Plaxton President Volvo B7TLs, from June 2001. These were followed by the smartly turned out 'twindecks' of 2005 the Volvo B7TLs with Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini bodies, which were named after the Pendle Witches. These Volvos flew in service with the same livery as the Harrogate 36, with Witch Way branding.

Halloween 2013 saw celebrations at the Nelson Collage, with a selection of the latest batch of Volvo B9TLs, with stylish Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini2 bodies. This new batch of buses were placed into service the next day, mixing with the 05 batch of B7s. One bus was used to show of the 2013 batch in Burnley town centre, with freebies and the new black and grey scheme and the sexy witch. In late November 2017, Transdev had plans to replace the current fleet, but this was later abandoned, due to operational reasons.

But by mid-December 2020 the next batch of buses were ordered and delivered during Covid-19 tier restrictions', where people couldn't move between tier 2 and 3. The new ADL E40DMMCs looked impressive as the quite launch saw some of the new batch displayed in Manchester. This batch arrived in the new black and orange livery with branding for the route, along with new Sky Class interiors. However, during June 2023, two of the batch of new buses have been subject to a repaint into the orange Burnley Bus Company livery, 2013 and 2014. By Lunch time on July 1st 2023, number 2013 was brought out of the depot and used for a run into Manchester. Here the bus is seen exiting Rwatenstall for its maiden voyage into Manchester, during the afternoon. The bus did return to Burnley as the 16:20 Manchester-Burnley service, then returned to Queensgate not in service.

A handful of these former Megabus Vanhool's were transferred to Oxford earlier in the year to cope with a PVR increase on the Tube and duely received full livery.

As time went on and the country going in and out of various lockdowns coupled with the arrival of a new batch of Plaxton Panoramas, some of these were withdrawn prematurely. 4 were transferred to Fife, initially for use on the seasonal Amazon contract but havent turned a wheel since arrival in early October.

A few from last summer. I managed to mess up the developing of some colorfilms. Didn't keep an eye at the temperature while developing.

So ended up with some not so perfect photos from our holiday at the Veluwe. The colors are not the way it should be but still do like photos.

These photos were taken while hiking at Kootwijkerzand

We decided to take only two analog cameras with us during our stay at the Veluwe and a few of the older/classic lenses

A Canon Eos 33 and one of our Canon Eos 3 bodies with the Canon EF 17-35 F2.8L, 28-70 F2.8L and the magic drain pipe 80-200 F2.8L were used.

Loaded the Canon Eos 33 with colorfilm and the Canon Eos 3 with black and white film.

The Canon Eos 33 camera was loaded with some Fujicolor Superia X-tra 400 with an expiry date 06-2019

Developing was done with our Cinestillfilm Cs41 kit at a wrong temperature (to low) and 3.5 minutes

After returning home from the Veluwe mixed a new batch developer and blix

The last batch was made in October 2019 and used for almost a year and 28 films.

Let's see how long and how many films we can develop with this batch, this is the first film done with the new batch.

This batch is still being used at this moment and have developed 11 films so far

A new batch of Heavy Metal head-banging

Spring Lambs

Further continuing the non-standard fleet is a relatively new batch of Volvo B8RLE/Wright Eclipse 2s that run Busway route A along with the B7RLEs.

Seen here is Fenstanton's 21308/BF65WKX speeding past the Fen Drayton nature reserve working the A from RAF Wyton to Trumpington Park & Ride via Central Cambridge.

Interior shot of one of the four new Boa Vista’s ordered for Edwards Coaches. Originally National Express ordered the first batch with 79(?) seats, but they weighed a bit too much and they have been off the road for quite a few months to have work done. They’re now all back on the road and they’ve got another four (BU18OTA-BU18OTD) to top up the 040, making it mainly double deck operated. They’ve now only got 73 seats and have had tables put in, and look identical to this brand new batch. These are ordered on the Scania K410 chassis.

The 2nd of the new batch of 5 vehicles for the resumed CityZap service to Leeds and is seen outbound working the 10.30 departure on Station Rise with the blind still showing York.

I can't remember ever seeing as many mushrooms as I have seen this year. Every day I go out to walk the dog I find a new batch somewhere along the route.

This week’s theme of the Macro Mondays group is “things found in the kitchen”. Why would I go into the kitchen except to fetch a beer? This bottle cap is from the latest incarnation of Firestone Walker’s Luponic Distortion series, where the brewer tries out different hops. This brand new batch, Rev. 007, uses Australian hops.

The contents of the bottle met with my approval.

My dictionary has no words between lupine and lupus, but hops are called humulus lupulus in Latin. The plant belongs to the Cannabaceae family — yes, hops are a not so distant relative of hemp...

Back the start of this year, on the first day of 2021 we went out for a short stroll in our own neighborhood.

Decided to take only one camera with me and only a few lenses.

Took one of our Canon Eos 3 cameras, and after shooting with some Superia 400 I loaded the Eos 3 with some Fujifilm Superia 200 (Expiry date 12-2014)

There is just a slight color mismatch with this expired film. but the results are nice.

Lenses used while we were walking around neighborhood were the Canon EF 20-35mm F2.8L, Canon EF 28-70mm F2.8L USM and the trusty "old" Magic Drainpipe Canon EF 80-200 F2.8L

Didn't use the 20-35 actually very much. Perhaps I should have taken the Canon EF 17-35mm F2.8L USM for more wide angle shots 😁

Developing was done at home with our Cinestill Cs41 kit at 39c and 4 minutes

This was the sixth film with the new batch of developer mixed on September 9 2020

Curious if we can reach over 25 films again and 10 months with this new batch.

The previous developer batch was used to develop 28 films (135-36 format) over an period of 10 months without any problems.

I have lots of shots for fence friday, here is the first of the new batch....haha! There weren't many fall colors in the trees, but there were plenty on the ground, so I shot a low pov capture. I was happy to see I didn't cut the vanishing point out either....lol! Have a great weekend everyone!

A new batch of containers have been put into service by ECS...They're MEGA...apparently!!

The arrival of the new batch of Enviro 200MMCs in Exeter has seen Torquay's Dart fleet undergoing some changes, with most of our older Darts moving on or entering reserve and being replaced by 34859-64 from Exeter.

First from a new batch of photos taken from a recent visit to the Brecon Beacons. A different B&W take on a much-photographed waterfall (including a few by me).

Part of a superb 10 mile walk I've done 4 times now taking in 9-10 impressive waterfalls. As well as the waterfalls, the walk includes lovely woodlands, breathtaking views, a mid-way pint and an ice-cream finale. It doesn't get much better than that.

A new batch of Spring Lambs

This is of course the new Tree Climbing breed 😁😁

A new batch of wigs arrived on friday... :)

And there are others that wouldn't fit in this picture.

Set to arrive at 'the orphanage' late tonight and tomorrow throughout the day. ;)

The new batch of Tridents delivered to Stagecoach this year would have another difference, like has happened with each batch since TA1. Still fitted with the Cummins ISCe 225 30 Euro3 engine these buses have the centre door moved back in the "correct position" (like the Titan's). This is done to prevent damage to the wheelchair ramp, but gives a better layout and much more easier to exit the bus from both decks. Another feature is tree loppers and the nearside blindbox moved to the bottom of the window like on DLA's.

At Stagecoach London's Stratford garage is 9.9m Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX400, TAS551 LY02 OBC [SD] (TAS554 to the left) and the rest of the batch delivered awaiting service at [SD] are for the new route 86 tender which commences on 20 July 2002, which [SD] would have a major allocation. Photo taken on 10 July 2002. Note none of the batch has any Dennis, Alexander or Trident badges at all.
