A man tests a guitar at the NAMM exhibition in Moscow. (I can’t say how good the sound is, because the person is wearing headphones ... I hope it’s beautiful).
For macro mondays 'sound'.
More fun playing with a holographic gift bag behind a set of small chimes belonging to my daughter.

Celtic mandolin music by Arany Zoltán
Mandolin, by Brian Kelley, is from the Creative Commons:
A kalimba, or thumb piano, is originally an African instrument that first appeared in the 1950s. The instrument belongs to the lamellophone family. You play the instrument by moving (plucking) metal plates with your thumbs. You can tune the kalimba with a tuning hammer.
Looking close on Friday's theme: Musical instruments

To me, the curl of this contra bass is a work of art in several ways. The instrument was made by a craftsman (or woman), it is so beautifully designed and made, that alone is art to me. When played by a musician a new musical work of art is born.
I don't play an instrument myself, but I can't live without music. Can you?

My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Musical Instrument".
Shot with an Enna "Ennit 8 cm F 2.8" lens on a Canon EOS R5.
Long exposure of a carefully controlled tap made under color-changing light, with the drumstick at rest for half of the time.
Hold with the underside of each spoon facing the other, using the index and the middle finger of one hand to hold them. Clap them together rhythmically on your upper thigh (if seated) or on your forearm.
Theme: "musical instrument"
