This was the first real flight of my DJI Inspire 1 with the new X5 camera and gimbal. This unit is a Micro 4/3rds sensor which allows the use of several different lens options. The ability to have a higher quality camera with the option of interchangeable lenses on an aircraft the size of the Inspire 1 is a very exciting prospect and I am looking forward to getting out and shooting more with it.
The National Museum of Australia is home to a collection that preserves and explores the social history of Australia. The building is located on the Acton Peninsula on the waters of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, the capital city of Australia, and was opened in 2001. It is a colourful building designed around the idea of knotted ropes, which was intended to symbolise that the stories of Australia are not one but many different ones.
Image captured using a DJI Inspire 1, X5 camera with Olympus 12mm f2.0 lens, 1/640th of a sec @f8, ISO200.
Image was processed using Adobe Lightroom 6.3 and Google’s Nik Collection Dfine 2.0, Viveza 2 and Color Efex Pro 4.

THE CONTINENT OF AUSTRALIA
6 images stitch 180º Panorama with GoPro HD3 BLK EDT
The Crags is the only public access to the coast between Port Fairy and Yambuk, and provides a panoramic views along the sweeping coastline, as well to the volcanic Lady Julia Percy Island. Located about twelve kilometres west of Port Fairy, The Crags is indicated by a sign not very easy to spot along the Princess Highway, and the area comprehend also an archaeological site and aboriginal cultural sites.
4 stills stitched entirely in PS6 with adjust meant for lens correction in ACR.
The images were lens corrected prior to import into PS. Once stitched, it was filtered with Adobe Adaptive Wide Angle Filter to correct the curved horizon.
The surrounding empty pixels were then filled with content aware fill.
Nik HDR Efex was used on the entire panorama to give it a punchier look.
At this stage, the images has a lot of noise in it. I play with a few noise reduction filters to try to find the best one. Not every image will work with given filter. I ended up with Topaz Denoise to smooth out the noise artefacts. The image was then sharpen with Smart Sharpen.
Hue/Sat adjustment layer was then use to get rid of the CA in the magenta channel via mask.
Then a non desctuctive dodge and burn layer (new layer, fill with 50% grey, change the layer to Overlay) was used to give it a little more punch in the highlight and shadow area.
Duplicate to new layer. The entire images was put through Image/Adjustment/Shadow&Highlight to brighten up the shadow area even more. The opacity was then turn down to what I think it natural. Adjustment mask with black filled was then use, I painted in the just around the shadow area.
Large also selection around the edges (250px) was use to get the vignette.
There you have it. I hope this certainly help some.
