Třeboň is a town in South Bohemia, Czech Republic. Surrounded by fishponds, it’s known for its spas and therapeutic treatments. Třeboň Chateau is a large Renaissance complex with exhibits on the noblemen who lived there. South is the neo-Gothic Schwarzenberg Tomb, built in the 19th century. In Masaryk Square are the town hall, with panoramic views from its gallery, and the baroque Marian column.

A multipurpose public building in Helper, Utah holds, among other things, a public library. I found the architectural style interesting, particularly the rounded corners and upward swirl of the windows found there, probably following a turned interior staircase. The glossy black statue on the far left is a tribute to the area's mining heritage.
Helper is named for the railroad engines which assisted or "helped" push trains loaded down with coal up the steep slopes to the north and on toward places like Salt Lake City. Helper has always been a gritty working town, although less so these days. Anything apparently went on here during the heydays of mining with a number of local hotels and clubs sporting brothels, the last only closing their doors in the 1970s.

Named after Betty and Bobby Allison, the courts in the Foster Recreation Center are perfect for playing volleyball or basketball. A walled court (not pictured) lets students play indoor soccer, dodgeball and more.

The Multipurpose Mini-satellite was developed by students from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. M-Cubed-2/COVE’s mission is to obtain mid-resolution color imagery of Earth’s surface and to carry the JPL/Caltech-developed CubeSat On-board processing Validation Experiment (COVE). COVE will advance technology required for real-time, high-datarate instrument processing relevant to future Earth science missions. It is a re-flight after the original M-Cubed unintentionally became attached to another CubeSat shortly after launch, losing the ability to transmit in the process. The Wasp class is a class of Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) amphibious assault ships operated by the United States Navy. Based on the Tarawa class, with modifications to operate more advanced aircraft and landing craft, the Wasp class is capable of transporting almost the full strength of a United States Marine Corps Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and landing them in hostile territory via landing craft or helicopters as well as providing air support via AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft or F-35B Lightning II stealth strike-fighters. All Wasp-class ships were built by Ingalls Shipbuilding, at Pascagoula, Mississippi, with the lead ship, USS Wasp, commissioned on 29 July 1989. Eight Wasp-class ships were built, and as of June 2018, all eight are active.
