Relatively small but sturdy multipurpose combat vehicle that can transport and provide remarkable fire support for 4 troopers in various harsh environments.

If you're thinking that i'm just lazy and used that turret from an already existing MOC of mine (Kamacops) - you are wrong (mostly). Because actually this thing came first, but I liked the turret so much that I couldn't resist building a tank with it. And there you have it: now this turret is shared between one fine light tank and a *meh* strange armored car (which is fine for military vehicles actually).

TX-50 "Kasatka" (Orca) Bipedal Walker

-------------------

The Kasatka is a manned bipedal walker. Made to multipurpose and excel in all categories.

It has a 3 man crew, operating the weapons and driving the thing.

The weapons include: twin side mounted cannons, twin belly mounted gatling cannons, 2x Anti-personnel missile pods, 1x SAM missile pod, a 20mm autocannon with twin ATGM.

A state of the art weapon, it rivals and defeats heavy tanks and gunships easily, and can massacre infantry (even when in buildings.)

It features large chunks of artificially grown muscle in the legs as well as motors, technically making it a cyborg. It has an AI with a "personality", so it's crew usually grow close with their particular machine. This AI is there to assist the pilots in operating the machine, guiding weapons, and even keeping company.

The AI can take control of the machine if needed.

The New Danube (German Neue Donau) is a side channel on the eastern side of the Danube in Vienna, Austria. It was created to provide flood relief by containing excess water. The Donauinsel (Danube Island), made out of the removed material,[2] separates the new waterway from the main channel of the river. The project was referred to by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) as "the first truly multipurpose fully sustainable flood protection scheme.

This view is looking down from (probably) the MCL (Multipurpose Classroom Laboratory) Building. The Home Ec Building dates from the early 1950's, and may be used for something else, now. That's Bell Avenue in the left hand part of the photo. Texas Street runs across the back part of the photo. The intersection of Oakland and Texas is where the famous shoot-out with the Martin-Story Gang took place. The National Guard and a couple of Browning .50 calibre machine guns encouraged the bad guys to cease, desist, and run for it. Quakertown Park is in the back of the photo on Withers Street. The bare spot at the left hand side of the photo at the intersection of Bell and Texas is where the old Demonstration School was located. That building was later torn down. A newer Demonstration School was built north of the TWU Golf Course; it has long since been demolished. UPDATE: If you look at the extreme background at the top of the picture--going from right to left--you can see the Carroll Courts Building, the GTE Phone Building, the Texas Building (still with aluminum siding), the Courthouse, the Wells Fargo Building, and the First Methodist Church with red roofing. These are fuzzy, but historically important.

A two-wheeled multipurpose cart, common in rural north Indian plains, pulled by a bull, is used as a means transportation or to carry goods. Being the only vehicle on the narrow, deserted road with lush green trees forming a canopy, this villager pulls the cart leisurely.

Situated on a mezzanine overlooking the main entrance of the Native Child and Family Services Building, Levitt Goodman’s “Longhouse” was conceived as a multipurpose room for the Toronto aboriginal centre. It is used both formally and informally for public assemblies and spiritual ceremonies, drumming and circle sessions, for counselling, meetings and children’s playtime.

Inspired by the traditional birch sapling structures of southern Ontario, it is a contemporary iteration of a longhouse, providing urban aboriginals with an authentic Native experience within a non-Native environment.

The Longhouse’s outer husk is formed from horizontal strips of eastern white cedar. Its interior is a honey-coloured barrel vault of cedar with radial curved ends held by gracefully torqued and spliced arches whose continuous crisscrossing wraps the interior like a net. The lamellar structure of mutually dependent, arched frame segments was typically used in the 1950s and ’60s for airplane hangars and sports stadiums. The project is a product of both digital design and handcrafted construction. The architects created a 3D computer model of the structure that the fabricators used to cut each piece, and it was prefabricated in the shop. To decrease the construction time on site, the components were numbered, disassembled and reconstructed on site with final adjustments made by hand.

Like the experience of a great work of art, the longhouse’s interior defies people’s accelerated habits. Its sensuousness slows down one’s breath and inspires contemplation and healing, thereby facilitating the activities that take place within its walls. According to the building’s Executive Director, Kenn Richard, “With the increasing migration of Native peoples from reserves to large urban centres, it will be important to have beacons and guideposts such as this to not only show the way but also to affirm and support the cultural and spiritual integrity of these developing communities. In some ways the longhouse is a foundation on which a new urbanized indigenous reality will emerge.”
