I went down to the huge local ski hill Mulligans Hollow and had some fun watching the kids soar over head. Some would not land quite so well but they would bounce back up and do it all over again. I hope to try and strobe the jump and do a sequence shot.

A Necklace dripping with Bling! The star of the piece is a Vintage Rhinestone pin that has been repurposed as a link in the necklace. White Glass vintage German beads, silver plated components and chain, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads and vintage glass pink leaves were used to create this elegant necklace.

A multi-alarm fire severely damaged the former Mulligan Elementary School at 1855 N. Sheffield Ave. early today. The school, which has been closed since the early 2000s and was being converted to 24 apartments, was completed in 1889. CTA service, which runs on tracks directly east of the building, was disrupted due to heavy ice on the tracks. The temperature was hovering near 0 when the photo was taken.
