I remember this billabong in Mulligans Flat in the Australian Capital Territory being completely dry, but after some good rain, it transformed completely.

I've got many fond memories of books that I read as a kid, but one that stands above the rest is Mike Mulligan and His Steam shovel.
When I saw that there was a shirt dedicated to the book, I just had to get one with the cover on the front, and then build a model of the steam shovel Mary Anne!
I'm obviously not the only FOL who's a fan of the book, as there's a surprising amount of red steam shovel MOCs floating around the internet!
