The Idaho State Capitol in Boise is the home of the government of the state of Idaho. Although Lewiston, Idaho, briefly served as Idaho's capital from the formation of Idaho Territory in 1863, the territorial Legislature moved the capital to Boise on December 24, 1864.
Construction of the first portion of the capitol building began in the summer of 1905, 15 years after Idaho gained statehood. Architects were John E. Tourtellotte and Charles Hummel. Tourtellotte was a Connecticut native whose career began in Massachusetts and skyrocketed further when he moved to Boise. Hummel was a German immigrant who partnered with Tourtellotte in 1903. The final cost of the building was just over $2 million; it was completed in 1920. The architects used varied materials to construct the building and their design was inspired by Classical examples.
Tourtellotte and Hummel used four types of marble: red marble from Georgia, gray marble from Alaska, green marble from Vermont, and black marble from Italy. Architectural inspirations included St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, St Paul's Cathedral in London and the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The most prominent feature of the capitol is its dome. Surmounting this dome is a bronze eagle, 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m) tall. The capitol building is 208 feet (63 m) high, occupies an area of 201,720 square feet (18,740 m2), and contains over 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) of artistically carved marble.
There are 219 pillars in the original building – Doric, Corinthian, or Ionic – and each pillar is made up of marble dust, plaster and scagliola. Scagliola is a mixture of granite, marble dust, gypsum and glue dyed to look like marble. This artificial marble was created by a family of artisans in Italy.
On the first floor of the capitol building, when looking upward to the dome, 13 large stars and 43 smaller stars can be seen. The 13 large stars represent the thirteen original colonies and the 43 smaller stars indicate that Idaho was the forty-third state to enter the union. The floor contains a compass rose. In its center is a sundial that has minerals found in Idaho. The first floor also houses a statue called the Patriot by Kenneth Lonn, for those who worked in the mining industry.
The second floor may be accessed via three entrances; from the east, the south and the west. The lieutenant governor’s office is located in the west wing, just opposite the governor’s office. On the north side of the second floor rotunda is a sculpture of George Washington astride a horse. And to the rear of the George Washington statue is the attorney general’s suite of offices. The space was home of the Idaho Supreme Court until it moved to the new Supreme Court Building in 1970. The east wing houses the office of the secretary of state offices in whose reception area is the official copy of the Great Seal of the State of Idaho.
The third floor contains the Senate in the west wing and the House of Representatives in the east wing. The two chambers were remodeled in 1968. Also on this floor is the old Idaho Supreme Court room, now used for hearings and committee meetings of the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee. On the fourth floor are balcony entrances to the senate and house galleries. The galleries enable members of the public to watch the Legislature while it is in session. The northeast, northwest and southwest corners of this floor contain many historic paintings as well as three murals by Dana Boussard.

Providence and Worcester Railroad's Valley Falls based local PR-3 is headed for the Port of Providence with a long string of tank cars for Univar and Shell. But first they have to make a side trip up the old Moshassuck Valley Railroad in Pawtucket with a load of rebar for Nucor/Harris Rebar. To facilitate that first move the gondola is sandwiched between their two units and they'll drop their train on the main up by old Lawn Tower and run up to the end of the line at Higginson Ave. in Lincoln and spot the car then MU their two units and then return light back off the 1.2 mile long branch.
Looking like the proud independent regional I grew up with, PR-3's two units still wear the classic red and brown scheme some eight years after Genesee and Wyoming orange took over. GP38-2s 2006 and 2008 are original to the road having been built new for the then only 7 year independent company by EMD in Feb. and Dec. 1980 respectively), and have spent their entire careers working the rails in and out of the Ocean State.
The train is arriving at MP 5 at this one time junction with New Haven's Shoreline main known as 'Boston Switch' five miles north of Providence Union Station. Still standing at right in the background obscured behind the trees and catenary poles is the crumbling tile roofed pagoda style interlocking tower that is 110 years old.
This junction came into being when what is today's Northeast Corridor (just out of sight to the right of the tower) was built as the Boston & Providence in 1847 providing a new direct route into the city from East Jct. near South Attleboro, MA. That pioneering road's original 1835 route traveled to East Providence where passengers and freight were ferried across the Providence River into downtown. From this point to Union Station the nee P&W which also opened in 1847 and thee B&P were operated a joint facility. In 1892 the P&W was leased to the New Haven and a year later the former B&P (by then in the Old Colony fold) joined the growing empire and both routes fell under the aegis of the same company.
In 1914 a massive grade separation and line relocation project in Pawtucket took place. This location was about the eastern limits of the work and according to Edward J. Ozog's phenomenal Railroad's of Rhode Island site:
SS 156 was built to protect the east end of the line relocation. Switches and signals were operated by electricity. The plan of the tower was similar to SS 154 built at the same time at the west end of the relocation but adjusted for its location and orientation. The tower was reduced to short hours when the depression struck and it was closed in 1935 and its duties transferred to Woodlawn Tower. In 1937 the interlocking machine was sent to Bridgeport for use in SS 60. Remarkably some 87 years after the last shift was worked here it still stands guard as a tangible link to the Ocean State's railroading heritage
And even more remarkable is the brick building looming behind the train on Foundry Street. This is the Murdock Webbing company's factory, one of the last textile manufacturers left in the Blackstone Valley where the industrial revolution began in America and where for a century thereafter the textile industry flourished. Makers of mil spec webbing belts and civilian products such as pet harnesses and fall restraints and tie downs, per their company web site:

In 1936, Frederick Murdock founded Murdock Webbing in the heart of the American Industrial Revolution with only 10 employees and 2 looms. In 1954, Murdock Webbing was purchased by the DeAngelis family, who still currently presides over a thriving company with more than 150 associates in the 285,000 square foot facility.

Brokerage baron Paul Brown made his start in the tobacco industry. In 1893 he moved his company to St. Louis from Montgomery City, Missouri. Bought out by the American Tobacco Company, Brown soon became one of Downtown St. Louis' largest property holders. His 1927 obituary reported that at the time of his death, in addition to the newly completed namesake building, he also owned the Frisco (NRHP listing) and Ely-Walker Dry Goods Company buildings and a controlling interest in the Chemical Building (NRHP listing). He had also previously owned the Title Guaranty and Union Electric buildings in downtown St. Louis (both now razed).
The Paul Brown Building in Downtown St. Louis occupies the western half of a city block bounded by Ninth Street on the west, Olive Street on the north, Eighth Street on the east, and Pine Street on the south. Designed in 1925 by Preston J. Bradshaw (whose body of work is among of the city's most important architectural legacies of the 1920's), the building is 16 stories on its southern half and 12 on the northern half. The building's buff brick exterior features lavish terra cotta ornamentation at its base and at the roof line which is a rare example of an intact cornice in the downtown area of St. Louis. The building is also one of only two in the downtown core displaying characteristics of the 1920's tripartite revival style buildings.
On December 12, 2002, the Paul Brown Building was determined to be eligible for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) listing under Criterion C for its local significance in the area of Architecture. The TOL T414, sold here as Move Vigorous, is an electric moped with three wheels and a body. These are quite popular for resturant delevery services as they can be parked on the pavement, even in the city centre.

66739 pauses for a few minutes at York with the 0N64 1725 Doncaster Down Decoy to Tyne Dock light engine move, allowing 800110 to pass with the 5Q14 1623 Peterborough to Heaton test working.
The following week would see the class 800 units start to take over the London - Leeds workings on the ECML.

They moved the Ex LABOS Peterbilt 320 Amrep Octo ASL from the front of the yard to the rear. Not sure if UWS of NM plans to refurbish this unit and use it on route. I doubt it would be a parts unit. Because the current fleet, does not consist of any Amreps or Peterbilts. Not sure if this is souly LNG or a duel LNG Diesel unit. Assuming is LNG only, I am sure UWS of NM will likely convert it to diesel.
