Our local photography group is having a little competition, the theme is 'motion', this is my entry!

Capturing motion blur, in this case a bus passing by fixed objects (traffic lights & pedestrian gate), taken with a low shutter speed. I like the way it gives the impression you can see the tree through the bus.
Trying to use slower and slower expsores for effect, used the light coming form the background for this one. Exposure time was 1/8 seconds.
There's nothing else like being free, except when you're a slave to everything you see. So am I living my life or is it living me?
^THAT'S MY DADDY. :)
View over the Stourhead Garden. I liked the way how the Clouds were adding this dramatic look to the scene whilst the trees and plants were mirroed on the water.

100 words - Motion
A brickfilming rig I built to make curved motion shots. The little thing at the end is supposed to attach to something so that the car can be moved around it. A tripod with a camera is supposed to be placed atop the car for animating camera movement.
It probably needs some improvements, but I'm really liking it thus far.
Das war jetzt so gar nicht mein Thema...
und ich hoffe, dass ich nach gefühlten hundert und mehr Versuchen "Motion Blur" irgendwie hinbekommen habe.
That wasn't my topic at all...
and I hope that after hundred or more attempts I have somehow managed to get "Motion Blur" right.

Gave a workshop for a few friends today on how to shoot long exposure motion. We had 3 great models, 2 dancers and one martial artist.
Amanda is a capoeira artist, Here we had her move with the LED lights to paint her motion.
Shot this with 2 lights, a 53" Elcinchrom midi octa with Genesis 300b and a 100 hot light at center snooted with cinefoil. triggered with Elinchrom Skyports.
