The sea is a beautiful thing to watch. I photographed this at the Wedge in Newport Beach, California. I arrived well before dawn and was able to sit and enjoy the surf for a couple hours. I took some shots but I really enjoyed just sitting and watching the waves and the motion of the sea. I hope this shot helps give the viewer a sense of the beauty and power of the ocean and surf.
The Happy smile on Saturday challenge is "motion blur". This is grasses blowing around on a windy day. The grasses are thin but with the slow shutter speed, it made them appear slim but thick! See 1st comment box for pic of what they really look like. It was such fun experimenting!! Hope you like it. HSoS! :-)

Everyone learns about electrons in elementary school, but ask a scientist, "How big is an electron?" and watch them blink.
From Wikipedia: The electron (symbol: e− ) is a subatomic particle with a negative elementary electric charge. It has no known components or substructure;
This photo is very abstract and notional, the electron is a moving charge, that has some properties, like mass, associated with it. It will scatter photons (light). So it is represented by the smear of light around the sphere. But it has always seemed very mysterious to me.
