Shhh... don't tell anyone, but I collect swag from this dot com company called Modo that expired in 2000. Actually, I'm kind of obsessed with this stuff. They made this little page thing that updated itself every night with all sorts of TimeOut NY-esque content. They were around some 90 days before they burnt through $40m (!!). Pretty amazing.
A lot of the ideas for dodgeball kind of came from this thing (mobile + cityguide), esp since I was working at Vindigo at the time.

Mōdo gakuen kokūn tawā (東京モード学園, モード学園コクーンタワー), or the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, located at 1-7-3 Nishi-Shinjuku on the former site of the Asahi Seimei Headquarters Building, was completed in 2008 to deconstructivist design of Tange Associates. The 204-meter, 50-story highrise is the second tallest educational building in the world, serving as home to three vocational schools: Tokyo Mode Gakuen Fashion School, HAL Tokyo College of Technology & Design, and Shuto Ikō Medical Schhool.
The building's cocoon shape symbolizes a building that nurtures the students inside. The vertical campus can accommodate 10,000 students across the three schools. Each floor contains three rectangular classrooms surrounding an inner that consists of an elevator, a staircase and a support shaft. A three-story student lounge is located on every third floor between the classrooms.
The Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower was awarded the 2008 Skyscraper of the Year by Emporis.com.

In rasender Eifersucht erschlug er den Akis mit enormen Felsbrocken, den die Götter dann aus Mitleid in einen Fluss verwandelten.
Die Stadt, die auf einer Hochebene über der Küste liegt, wurde nach dem verheerenden Erdbeben von 1693 im Barockstil wieder aufgebaut. Mittelpunkt von Acireale ist die bühnenhaft gestaltete Piazza Duomo, an auch der Palazzo Modò liegt, der Anfang des 20. Jh. in ein Theater umgebaut wurde und heute Ladengeschäfte beherbergt.

AIK förlänger sin bra start på Hockey Allsvenska i och med vinst mot MODO på Hovet. Tredje matchen och tredje segern innebar att AIK placerar sig i toppen av tabellen.
Cut out with X-acto and and assembled with Elmer's glue. The smell of this stuff brought me back to elementary school.
After blood test, I dropped in a dollar shop in the same shopping mall and found these reasonably priced knight figures. I know the manager and she gave me a real good discount too. I am tempted to get others in the series too! HaHa! 💖
Paul Klee dice que halló como señal en un libro un trozo de una carta de 1880 en la que un aldeano contaba a un su amigo las novedades de su aldea y, aparte del reverso donde se leía la fecha, decía "por la mañana ha hecho un día gris, con ligera llovizna, pero la tarde ha sido luminosa y no ha hecho frío" y el bueno de Paul se puso a ensoñar como convertir aquellas palabras en imágenes.
